in my room at circus relaxing to get much needed sleep, just wish i got it different hours is all

new rolls back to $13.800 after todays $1300 win on VBJ and $241 win at poker. played at both wynn and riviera. at the riviera they kept calling my shoves when i had the nuts, and its normally an awful game filled with freeroll nits. might get better once the pool player come in on the 16th next week. and the only reason i won at the VBJ was i got really lucky, i won close to $676 at slotsoffun, and the rest on a very bad paying machine at the encore i got very lucky on.

i do think ill have a better shot of winning at VBJ in the future however, ive been told how to tell when the shuffles taking place, and the next opportunity i have, im gonna test it out to be sure by counting exactly 208 cards after the loud thud i hear a lot, and see if its 208 cards apart. if so, that proves its true. if not, that proves thats not when it happens after all. does sound like a pinball machine thud. if it is when it takes place, that would mean i could always have a very accurate count, and would explain why my counts were off, making my playing decisions and betting decisions off.

now the OD is supposed to be working on this blog soon, trying to get software installed, im gonna email him right now before i fall asleep.

  1. that thud you are hearing is your sock roll hitting zero. keep doing what you are doing and you will soon be broke.

  2. Tony if your "thud theory" doesnt pan out u will still play the machines. It's too bad. You really had a shot at accomplishing the things u wanted, housing vehicle security etc. The interesting thing is u have a written history of what doesn't work in your very own words.

  3. Tony, I am afraid you have been mislead about the loud thud. It is actually the sound of the doom switch being turned on for you.

I can't believe you actually fall for that. Do you really think something so obvious would remain a secret?

  4. Trust me, if it was that easy to win at VBJ everyone would be doing it.

  5. So now that you are officially back on the machines, and you are being a gambling addict instead of a professional poker player, does that mean that the $200 bounty no longer applies?

  6. If I were to lay you 10-1, my 10k to your 1k, that you can not stay off any machines or non-poker table games until I get there in October, would you ever consider a bet like this?

  7. Hey Tony congrats on the size of your roll. Just curious, with all your recent machine play is there any chance of the sevencard being a sevenstar where i hear the comps flow like wine and the women instinctivly flock like the salmon of capistrano?

  8. Shouldn't you concentrate your VBJ & table BJ play to one company (Caesars/Harrah's) so you can maximize your comps, and maybe get the SevenStar status like the previous commenter said?

  9. bigJ and badfish ALL of the machines at harrahs owned properties have a very bad payback on VBJ, none of my VBJ play occurs there.

  10. Tony:

The good news is, switching to this blog format will make it MUCH more difficult, if not impossible, for people to track your actual (reported) losses to your gambling addiction.

No longer will people be able to tally up all the money you've thrown away on your addiction and rub your face in the fact that you don't want to be a "poker professional", but just another degenerate gambler.

Well played, sir. You've gamed the system!

  11. Tony I have started to believe that you are a true professional gambler. I also believe you are a very good professional gambler. After following you for several years and seeing others and myself tell you to do this or that or you will be broke and homeless. You are still running strong and building your bankroll so I must conclude that you are good at what you do.

since when do you care if a machine is "bad paying"? you play "bad" machines all the time. you played a "very bad" machine at encore.

i guess playing the machines is more important than a place to live, a car or a girlfriend. good luck, you are going to need it.

  13. Why in the world would a VBJ machine make a mechanical noise when shuffling? When you play solitaire on your laptop, does it go "thunk" when it shuffles for a new deal? Of course not. It's just electrons zipping around circuits. I have no idea what inside of a VBJ machine would make any mechanical sound, but I'm 100% certain that it has nothing to do with any aspect of the game play (shuffling, dealing, randomization, etc).

Very bad, as in worse than the 96% payback machine that you played???
