From commerce

Got stuck $782 from a bad bluff $500 nl then lost $500 $20-40 stud. Got back $425 of it so far $30-60 stud............................................................

hey my final edit wasnt posted as a blog post, but in the comments sections it seems like. i am just now waking up and waiting on a cab to the commerce, they dont take too long to show up here for whatever reason and i wish there was a grocery store and a laundrymat nearby but there isnt. i havent noticed any problems with ants today dont know why they was yesterday and i mentioned it to the management maybe they somehow fixed it.

overall i did great in the $100 NL to win back about $900 cutting the loss in half.

  1. When your head north be sure too have enogh of a roll too pay for an apartment in Eugene for 12 months. Craigslist had a downtown studio for about $ 450. With no rake there your should be able too live like a king there.

  2. Way to go Tony. Martingaling the antes on stud. Yesterday 2/4, today 20/40. Busted your balls, and move up to antes of 30/60. What next 100/200? Save some money for the bus trip back to Las Vegas.
P.S. This format really sucks. If you want followers, spend some money and upgrade where people can have some interaction on your blog.

  3. Holy crap Tony, aren't you playing a bit high for your BR? Please, stop this insanity.

  4. Good luck out there but the players you are up against are alot different than the drunk tourists at the 1-2 games in Vegas. What places are you planning to visit after u leave LA?

Ps. You really should have your money in a bank when u travel. They will issue u a debit card that u can use as a credit card and you can find ATMs all over. Much much safer that way even if you just deposit the bulk of it Into the bank.

  5. what a great blog "look at grouchies blog to see the hands", "look at my facebook to read about the ants in my room".

in the name of journalistic integrity why should anyone be reading this blog?

  6. Tony,

If you are going to be foolish with your money on the table, at least take Tatude's advice on putting some in the bank.

This format sucks things that suck things that suck. In other words, it is not very user friendly.

    Good luck,

  7. Tony has to martingale - he if cannot do it at VP then he does it at poker.
He did the same thing last time he was in Cali and ended up losing a lot at a higher NL game because he was waiting for his hour to be up to get a free sandwhich.

  8. Gotta agree that you may be playing at too high of stakes. Be careful. It's a marathon not a sprint. Be patient.

Also hopefully u will someday be able to get a forum type setting on your blog. You've done a good job keeping the trolls and over the top comments out. I know alot of readers would like you to go to AVP and while it would expose your blog to more people and be easier to read the same old problems would occur.

Tony still gets alot of real negative comments he has to block probably from the same two or three losers. They should find a new hobby as I don't think it affects him much since they get deleted right away.

  10. dont really know for sure what ill do,or where ill go, but i do know one thing, its a whole lot more expensive to live in cali, and even with $13,500 when i arrived thats still not enough for cali. after tonites loss, im down to $12,100 and am very lucky it wasnt $11,100. (for my final $100 buyin in $100 NL got turned into about $970.) am now in room to sleep. not playing any more $30-60 stud but really, for that game i sat there about 6 hours with $500 and didnt lose all of it, and thats like sitting in $3-6 with $50 for that long. my stupidity was when i tried to bluff a lady in the $500 NL and wasted over $500 on a pot and then went on tilt, and came to play $20-40 stud, lost about $500 3 handed and 2 handed and then moved to the $30-60 stuck over $1200 already

  12. Tony Cali is very expensive. The advantage in Vegas is that housing is cheap and you have bad players like that idiot at Osheas the last time I was there who burned through 6-700 trying to be a big shot. Not as many of those in Cali. It's good that you get away for a bit. Unfortunately housing would eat up your roll quick out here. Good luck whatever you do and be safe out there.

  13. Sup Tony (To Tuff to Tame) Bigcharles, in all honesty Tony it might be cheaper to play the machines in Vegas than housing in Cali.

  14. Also not really my place to dole out poker advice but it seems you do best playing 1-2 NL and dont often have bad losses. Just a thought.

  15. Tony, this is not going to end well. Get back to Vegas as soon as possible.

You make it sound like a revelation, but don't you already know this from the numerous times you've gone to LA? Each time you blow a bunch of money, play too high (martingaling) and then run back to Vegas with your tails between your legs. This has all happened before.

I wonder who this sounds like....Tony would you have a good guess? Go back to Vegas, you know you'll end up there and once again hating yourself for leaving.
