  3. mom said to use borax to get rid of the roaches. right now im waiting for vince to bring my clothes, tired of wearing the same shirt. spent $5 at goodwill for a sheet, rags, and water pitcher and bowl. i need to buy about $50 worth of stuff like that, but why bother if ill be homeless again living back in Jean soon? i sure cant afford to stay here. the reason i took it was i needed to be in vegas to get things done and theres nothing available over NYE.

spent the morning playing poker and won only $8. yesterday i lost $80

    1. Problem is they like to crawl under the covers for protection. It's not a big deal if you're a sound sleeper. You probably won't even feel them on you while you sleep.

    2. the maintenance person has now come by and sprayed. and im not been sleeping in the bed. i didnt want to go spend $20 at a thrift store filling up the place with linens and kitchen supplies because im scared shitless about money, and i hope its not going to affect my play. Im very lucky someone left a microwave in here, because the office dont give them out. why waste money on all them things again, if im not going to be able to afford to continue to stay after 2 weeks, and have to move out again? had they not forced me to pay for 2 weeks instead of 1 week to move in because of new years eve, id have only paid for 1 week.

  4. actually im using a coach cushion as a pillow and only bought one sheet for $2 to save money in the thrift store. Vince cannot give me these anymore since i wasnt able to return them the last time because the hardrock threw my things out before i went there to pick them up. im in dire need of a lot of things i dont want to pay for if im not going to be able to keep this place since i cant afford to play NL, and thats the only game u can win at.

  5. I feel like you made this post just so you could complain about things.
You are in Vegas, How about something positive?

  6. Play nl with 100 at a time, better odds than blackjack. You will be broke soon if you don't start making money.

  7. " the hardrock threw my things out before i went there to pick them up."

But that's because you kept your things in the room beyond the days that you had paid the rent for, and because you decided to stop living there without telling them, right?

  8. Hi Tony,

Looks as though you are making some moves in the right direction - good for you, and I hope it all works out. I've noticed from Twitter that you've booked a couple of nice profits at the poker tables - congratulations and keep up the good work.

    Happy New Year.

  9. BTW, did the things that got thrown out from your last apartment include the microwave oven that AlaskaGal gave you?

    2. Tony, the point is, that AlaskaGal gave you something important, and you left it behind like it didn't matter. And now you miss it and are complaining about all the things you don't have. The fact that you luckily have a microwave when you shouldn't is irrelevant. Less people are going to help you now because they know you can't take care of the things they give you.

  12. Any updates on your goal of winning $1,000 from all them bad players online?

It looks like you're about +$80 from SnGs and up about $200 from cash games; we'll be generous and call it $300.

That's great but not quite $1,000 in profits. Any plans on how you'll get to $1,000 in profits?

If I can offer a suggestion, looking at your stats the majority of that profit is from $.25/.50 PLO 6 max, where you're winning at a 111.7 BB/100 clip and off the charts on showdown frequency (aa23eachhand goes to Showdown more frequently than 99% of the population at $0.25/$0.5 PL Omaha 6 Max.)

It's up to you of course but it seems like if you want to win more money you should just keep taking shots at .25/.50 PLO and never fold and call down everything, as it's working great and I'm sure 111.7 BB/100 is your real win rate because how couldn't it be against all them bad players?

Good luck of course and I hope you run well the next few days and make your goal.

P.S. How's the search for a doctor and lawyer going?

P.P.S. Made it out to the Suncoast yet?

P.P.P.S. You haven't played any of them bad machines, have you?

  13. Tony,

I hope you are on this: http://www.allvegaspoker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20122&sid=75ed441b849bc97e86b373445b018c16

It looks like the Riv is giving money away and it could be a big boost to your roll. Get over there.

    Happy New Year!

    Good luck, of course,
