Im a fool

again tonight, i won $45 playing poker at samstown, and then won $95 playing poker at boulder station. and then i came home $10 ahead, still in the $2200s, after losing $35 in the VP at samstown, and $95 on the VP at boulder station. i have lost close to $400 or so in the last month on VP since leaving Jean and that would help my bankroll out substantially.

I really need to buy a bike so i cant use not wanting to stand outside at night at the bus stop as an excuse to sit inside the casino playing VP waiting for it to get light outdoors so i feel safe going outside. Nor can i bring myself to spend $10 on a cab between sams town and boulder instead of using the bus as broke as i am. Like i said, that extra $400 or so back would really help, im sure ive forgotten losses and its probably closer to $600.

i found a way to get another $13 on lock without having to buy from vook when i was down to less than $1 this morning. i went and traded in 900 points, am wondering if id have got a better rate on those points had i saved them.

The black lady i wrote on my friends list on myyearbook, id have sworn she was who walked into the poker room at sams town the other day and didnt introduce herself because she "didnt like me". turns out it was NOT her after all. i seen her again watching the game at boulder, went in and got a coffee, and seen me on a machine later, talked to me, (so she could order a drink from the waitress) and i showed her that ladys picture on myyearbook, and it was someone totally different. the other girl who was white and watching the game at samstown a different day, id swear though is a different one i wrote who never wrote me again. i really need to get a haircut before i try and meet any women. I'll never find another one like Claudia who accepted me as i was at first anyway, and this was why i was so bitter about losing that relationship, and tried so hard to win her back. women are not the kind of thing that can be replaced if u lose one.

the only reason im back to $2200 is i got and deposited moms check for $380 yesterday, and i was at the bank almost an hour waiting to speak to someone, finally got my debit card replaced and i sure hope the people in the office are honest and dont steal the mail. i still have to wait 7-10 business days for the permanent card in the mail with my name on it.

I've noticed a ton of old blogs on my roll that arent updated too often got around to being updated today. some of those blogs that are old and dont exist i need to remove.

also i changed my settings on lock, to where i can now see 6 max sngs instead of only 10 handed ones. so i found some hyper turbos and some double up sngs with only 6 people, both of which i never even realized ran on a regular basis on lock. i am not sure if i should play them or not. once the table gets too short in live poker i usually do worse. Finally seen one roach, but not the bigger sized one, first one in 5 days.

Which thrift stores are less expensive? seems the savers one and the desert industries one costs more than others, the one near me used the excuse they have to pay the employees--and yet they get the stuff FREE.

  1. you wont' spend $10 on a cab ride but you'll blow $50 staying inside playing Video Poker instead?

You said you've already lost at least $400 from VP this month alone
You realize that's 40 cab rides right?
Yet, you won't spend $10 on a cab ride because you'd rather bitch and moan about losing money and how you can't afford to pay for a cab.

Seems to me you can't afford to NOT pay for a cab as you would still have a huge chunk of that $400 in your roll

    1. Yeah, do you even realize what you just said?

"I spent $400-$600 to save $100 in cab rides"

      Do the math Tony...jeeze

    2. So...you spent between $400 and $600 to save $100 in cab fares?

That must be the new math Tony

  2. That $400 could have got you 3-4 sessions with a psychologist and probably a diagnosis you need to get back on SSI. If you go back to Jean I guarantee they will pull that VBJ machine out if you are able to do as well as you say you do there. Your best bet is to get off your butt and goto the SSI/housing office. Unfortunately you have no patience and no discipline. Good luck sir!!

  3. Tony. These buses run on a schedule. You can even text the number on the sign at the stop to see when the next one is coming. That way you can leave when needed.

  4. Tony $400 hundred buys one hell of a bike. You must not be playing FP-VP machines.

  5. The points rate on lock doesn't change. Convert them anytime

PS. When I play on lock I play the 6 max hypers and DoNs. Dons are similar. Do NOT play hypers. You don't know IcM well enough. You've been warned. If u win u got lucky

Also, trust me when I say it's not your hair as to why you're still single. You and I both know that.

  9. How exactly does one matingale VP? Even starting at $1 you'd never be able bet enough when you lose 10 - 15 hands in row. Plus they shuffle every hand so you never get in a postive count like BJ.

    1. u start with 1c bet. (on the spin poker machines). the reason i dont like the better paying machines is u must flat bet at least $1.25 every hand. i dont like to risk near that much til ive lost a ton of hands in a row. 2nd bet is 1 hand of 2c, then 5c, then 10c in total hands worth of bets, etc, (not always exact of course) on up til u have maybe 90 bets of 25c. (9 lines at 10 credits a line on the 25c) if i wanted to start at $1, id not be able to martingale it and would just play the better machines. the whole object of a martingale is to bet a very small amount.

    2. That's right Tony, the whole point is to risk more and more to win that one unit (1 cent). Simply brilliant.

  10. Tony:

You continue to do the same thing, over and over and over again.

You play machines because you chase losses.

You play machines because someone put you on tilt.

You play machines because you don't want to go outside.

You play machines because you want to win IMMEDIATELY.

You play machines because you don't want to talk to people.

You play machines because you "con't have enough money for poker".

The truth is, Tony, you have a pathological gambling addiction. I've posted the South Oaks Gambling Screen on here before, and when you took it, you were off the charts on it. You are an addict.

If you are serious about improving your life, you'll act on it (get counseling, get hooked up with govt. services, etc...). None of those things will happen until you feel like your life is rotten enough to warrent such actions. You haven't hit bottom. Nothing is going to change until you do.

All that said, I'm rooting for you, Tony.

    2. this is pretty much why i dont post anymore in a nutshell...6 years of the same shit over and over! ask for advice then when its recieved constanly refute or ignore it! besides the gall of charging your mother$100 to do a favor(which u bitch to no end about)the constant "fear" of being robbed or anything else for that matter(the only times in the 6 years ive followed this blog that there have been any altercations with you, they have been have been started by you) you are a gambling addict and will never quit the machines until you go broke

you wont buy a blanket or a bike, but make excuses why you continually have to play machines instead. then after you dump $500 in them, you whine..smh.

as far as s.s.i. im glad your not getting it! you dont desereve it! all you will do with that money is gamble it away. my tax dollars shouldnt go towards your addiction, they should instead go to someone who truly needs that money!

as far as claudia, you have no one to blame for that loss except for yourself..that woman was good to you and you blew it. you put her right on front street in this blog! instead of keeping your big mouth shut, cause you wanted to brag to your readers that you were having sex with her, then continually come on hear and tell us that she tried to ruin your life! you are so full of fail it's mind boggling!

you will never change and you will never learn!

p.s. hi joise! miss your blog very much!go ravens lol

    6. Tony people have been giving you advice for six years on how to work on your gambling addiction and you don't give a shit about any of it because none of it involves giving you more money to gamble with so losing hurts less.

Obviously, you're staking him and can put any requirements you'd like on it - but I'm really hoping you require Tony to do an indepth post about how the tournament went, including hands.

He so rarely posts hands or any insight into his play, and I'm always curious to see the rationale behind some of his play.

    3. Actually Tony, the $45 deposit is next to nothing and is more than likely so that you don't steal the linens or remote or microwave. It's for cash paying guests who haven't provided a credit card to bill later. Also you clearly have to pay up front for your estimated stay, so people don't show up, promise to pay when they leave, and then book it when management comes around with a hand out.

Dealing with transients who don't have valid credit cards like yourself is more trouble than needed, thus precautionary measures like these.

You think that you're always the victim and that people are out to get you, but the truth of the matter is you're more often than not a bigger nuisance to others than they are to you. But not realizing that is a trait of your autism.

  16. recovered from a sizeable loss in todays stud game at samstown, and won $7. played holdem for a while, at one point was over $50 ahead, but was only $13 ahead when i left. went and got a haircut and beard trim for $25 (since i might be meeting a woman at samstown saturday night). Also spent $95 on a bike at walmarts but dont care for the handlebars, wonder if i can go back and switch it? also grabbed some food items, and a better lock for it than last time, with a key. i seen a bike outside of samstown parked at the bike rack id sworn was the same bike that got stolen, but no way to prove it. called SI and asked him if he could verify it, but no. Should be seeing tatude thurs, poker Johnny monday, and Tim on sunday night maybe but need to email him.

  17. " i seen a bike outside of samstown parked at the bike rack id sworn was the same bike that got stolen, but no way to prove it. "

Of course there's a way to prove it: Check the serial number of that bike against the serial number of the one that you owned.

You DID record the serial number and keep it somewhere safe, didn't you? If not, then you're out of luck.

You could do that this time. You could also take other measures, such as removing the seat and putting inside the seat tube a card with your name and signature and contact info on it, then replacing the seat. You could also send in the warranty card to the manufacturer with the serial number. Maybe the city, county, or state has a bike registration program so that the police check a database whenever a possibly stolen bike is recovered. You could look into that and use it if it's available.

    ReplyDelete
  18. i wouldnt know where to find the serial number.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Too bad. Because unless you're born with that specific piece of information already in your brain, there's just no way to ever figure it out. Every single person who knows where on a bike to find the serial number was born with that knowledge already imprinted in their DNA, and if that doesn't include you, you can't possibly ever acquire that knowledge. I guess you're just out of luck.

    1. We're all God's children and part of His plan is that we each have unique strengths and weaknesses.

Please try to be more respectful of Tony's limitations. It may seem trivial to you for him to learn to find a serial number on a bike but that could be an insurmountable mountain to him.

Keep in mind that the Lord works in mysterious ways. While he may struggle with bike serial numbers, he's more than capable of navigating online dating sites on his own and finding GFE incalls.

Let us rejoice in the mystery and majesty of the Lord; speak not any thing rashly, and let not thy heart be hasty to judge.

  20. If only google had information on things other than porn, single women, right wing fanatical political and religious propaganda, escorts, or safe apartments with separate entrances and windows not on ground level for 150 or less a week within well lit walking distance of poker rooms and no to minimal minorities living nearby. Then all of Tonys problems would be solved.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It's not just serial numbers. Tony's go-to answer to "Maybe you should do X" is "I don't know how." Which is fine if that's the start of an exploration and learning process. But for Tony, it isn't--it's the end of the story. I don't know X, therefore X is not in the realm of possibility. Sometimes it leads to an insistence that somebody tell him the answer or show him how to do something. But it never seems to lead to a self-reflective kind of response, such as, "Millions of other people have figured this out on their own, maybe I can, too." This is especially puzzling because Tony claims to be so much smarter than your average bear. Well, a whole bunch of people less intelligent than Tony have figured out how to locate the serial number on their bicycles. Some of them even do amazingly brilliant things like looking in the owner's manual.

Tony, when you say "I don't know X" and make that the end of the story, you are effectively saying, "I'm incapable of learning." If that's really true (and I don't think it is), well, that's terribly sad and you're in for a rough life. But if it isn't true, then "I don't know X" as the last word just means that you're being lazy.
