Thank God for sickcallmggee and all the help he gave me

down to about $930, wasnt a good night, lost $107 trying to get out of the hole. played more spots than i should, not nearly all the time, but had money in 4 spots after Cutter left. That wasnt why i lost, it was because i bet too much, at one point betting 4 spots of $15 on plus 13 running count on what was the final hand when im supposed to spread to the max, but i dont have the roll to bet that high, and i wouldnt have if i wasnt sick of playing by then and stuck. room is now paid up til wed instead of up til monday, leaving me with $9 comps remaining. goal is to prepay about a month (total of $405 for 28 days) and have about $500 in comps remaining, which is the max in comps u can store on ur card at this casino. that would take a year or so and or a lot bigger sized bets.

even though i know i shouldnt, its so hard not to put out that final bet when stuck so much frustrated of never being ahead all night, and knowing the edge in ur favor is about as high as it gets. and i feel like in the long term it will benefit me to have the money on the table instead of in reserve. but maybe thats not true when im this broke?

and the $91 on lock is now sitting at $108. very nervous leaving that much in there when they could shut down, but need enough to work with. But its such a significant portion of my total worth.

whats this is hear that NV finalized approval of online poker and the gov signed it a day or so ago? so cant they start now no more wait?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
so now my laundry is washed, folded, dried, at sickcalls favorite laundry, and $8 was spent on some food items for the room. will keep me going for a few weeks. i will reimburse sickcall by sharing the revenue from samstown freeroll chop mar 10 which he will bring me to, along with my welfare appt march 13.

at first we went to the wrong welfare office, state office instead of county. (didnt understand the county had its own seperate from the state). the state is what issues food stamps, county offers a medical program. so then we went to the one on martin luther king in north las vegas, where Vince said to go and sickcall lives. while waiting in there, the building had to be evacuated, a fire truck showed up, and they came and said they wouldnt be taking any new clients today, so we tried going to their other office after an employee said it didnt matter which office i used since im homeless. thats the one on pinto lane close to UMC.

much nicer office, and eventually got called about 3 1/2 hours after we went to the first office at 8am. and i got an apt to return march 13 at their other office to get the medical card. they will accept my louisiana id but only for 30 days, which is all i need to see a dr anyway. another thing im supposed to do is get a status letter from ssi showing i have a pending case thats on appeal. That can be picked up at any ssi office without needing to be mailed. sickcall said he could run me by there too.

we never did go by the harcrock, we left that for vince since we didnt want him going there and getting pissed off with it claimed already. if he hasnt picked it up he better hurry it ends sat night at midnight

  3. It has been awhile since I checked for any new channel selections on my Roku box and low and behold there is a channel dedicated to autisum. I included just one paragraph below Tony but this show is produced in south Florida. If you follow the link and read the whole thing I bet you could contact the people that produce this autism channel and get your story into the more mainstream media via this Roku channel's programming?

It looks like over 6000 Roku box owners have installed the channel in the last six mos and 200-300 more people are installing the channel on a daily basis. NOthing to lose on this one Tony....

    Good luck (of course), Lester

Since launching in August, the channel has drawn nearly 6,000 viewers, an audience that grows at a clip of about 10 an hour, said Jerry Trowbridge, The Autism Channel's executive producer for technology. Last week, it was ranked "highest rated" among more than 600 Roku channels, even though The Autism Channel has done no marketing or promotional efforts.

  17. all (especially Tony),

Since I can no longer do Western Union withdraws on Lock I will not be buying, selling, or playing there until I get all my current money off. My only options are to use check which takes about 3 months or 2+2 to sell my funds or to go thru friend to withdraw. I've chosen the long slow boat of check to withdraw my funds (hopefully I get them before the WSOP starts).

Anyways, please don't offer to send me Lock money or ask for Lock money. My effective is balance is now zero and I will not be playing there in the short term.

I rarely play on Lock anyways because there's just no enough high stakes SNG action running. However since I have an account on Interops I might play some turbo MTTs from there when I fund it.

    1. vook the only thing thats really bothering me is this--u once gave me ur word, that no matter what happens, u wouldnt leave me holding the rug unable to get my money out of lock. SO UNLIKE WHAT THE TROLLS ARE INSINUATING, ITS A DAMNED GOOD THING I GOT THAT MONEY OUT OF LOCK WHEN I DID, OTHERWISE ID BE SCREWED. I HAD AS MUCH AS CLOSE TO 20% OF MY ROLL THERE ALMOST. i dont think the sender intended for me to have money stuck somewhere i couldnt withdraw the winnings.

still i need to know what site should i play on where i can easily make player transfers without issues? and still has traffic in ur opinion? thats if i dont lose my net within the next month, which is the other reason i was in such a hurry to close out lock, i thought i might lose it this week but it had already gone thru. i do feel like his idea of me grinding online still has merit, just on another site without withdrawal issues is all.

i will feel a lot better if u tell me that if my money had still been in lock and not already transferred to u, ud have made sure u kept ur promise and i wouldnt been left holding the bag (had i not already had sent it beforehand).

      Delete
    2. Tony, why would you say all this stuff after leaving you holding the bag, when in fact, Vook already helped you get all of the money out of Lock.

The only way to ensure you can play on a safe site, is to get out of the US. There is NO site you can feel confident that allows US players, and ALL of them have cash out problems.

Weren't you born in Canada? If so, one possibility is to move to Canada, of course that would be difficult without any money.

    3. pokerdogg, the fact i was born in canada and obtained citizenship there thru my father at birth (and also US citizenship thru my mother at birth) would that be enough to override my felony conviction 24 yrs ago and let me immigrate? and maybe it wont be necessary, pokerstars might be legal for NJ residents come september.

      Delete
    4. Tony: Canada won't even allow fisherman to cross the border on vacation if they have had a DWI conviction. It would be a long shot that if your previous felony is in the database that they use at the border that they would let you in even on a visit let alone a relocation.

      Show some goddamned initiative!!!!

Here's the info for the embassy (and there is ALWAYS only one embassy, and it's in DC. There are "Consulates" in other cities):

      501 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
      Washington, D.C. 20001
      Tel.: (202) 682-1740
      Fax: (202) 682-7726
      Media Inquiries: (202) 682-7732
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
      Consular Services: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Tel.: (202) 448-6519

You can CALL them to ask the questions. You don't need to actually visit just to get clarification on whether you still have citizenship.

      s.i.

      Delete
    11. Assuming everything you've told us is true, you 100% still have Canadian citizenship and in theory can return and live in Canada anytime you want. You can't lose your citizenship there due to turning a certain age or for arrests/convictions in another country.

That said, if you do want to cross the border and/or live in Canada you should try to get as much documentation together as possible and be prepared for a lot of questions and a long wait.

Depending on where you cross over and how you present yourself it can turn into a nightmare, even for people with no convictions. Be prepared for a long wait and getting mad at them and demanding they recognize that you're a citizen won't help.

      Delete
    12. Tony, questions regarding your citizenship can be asked via emails. No reason to go to an embassy.

Once u confirmed your citizenship, then you can ask border services if you will have trouble getting in.

    3. That's what's keeping you from applying for jobs? Some people make them sound like they won't be fun?

Here's an article that says 70% of Americans hate their jobs:

      http://www.forbes.com/sites/carminegallo/2011/11/11/your-emotionally-disconnected-employees/

I enjoy my job, but VERY few of my friends like what they do. They do their jobs so that they can take care of themselves and their families. They do their jobs so they can live their lives - they work to live. It may not be the ideal, but it allows them to put a roof over their head and keep their family safe.

If you're holding out for a job you'll "enjoy", you won't ever work. You're not qualified for any job you'd enjoy.

Tony, when are you going to take responsibility for your own action? If you had gotten the cat, you may have kept the apartment for a bit longer, but you may also hit a losing streak in Vegas. Then you would have blamed people for not talking you out of getting a cat, which caused you to keep an apartment that you can't afford, etc, etc.

It'll probably be tough to force him to shut down the site, because I don't think he's doing anything illegal. It's all real quotes from tony, some of which are taken out of context. But again, that's not illegal, which is why most celebrities are very careful about what they say to the media and what they post on the internet.

  23. Tony -> My message is telling you now that I don't want to buy or sell anymore lock. Anything I buy now I won't be Able to cashout for six months minimum That message was a warning for everyone. I thought u just sold me all your lock yesterday?

If u have some left ill buy it and sell it at a loss (prob 65 cents on dollar to be done with). don't care about the 5 or 10 bucks. I want to be done with lock. Of u read my link then you know why.

You can do transfers on BCP although you have to email support to do it. I'm willing to do one a month to help out but I don't want to waste my time helping you buy and sell every 3 days at your whim. Either put some on long term and try build it a month at a time or buy/sell using 2+2 with kids who have ample time (I'd do it if it was automated).

Lemme know if you want to move what you have left on lock (if anything) to BCP one time. Ill do it at .80 since lock is selling at an all time low of .65 recently and last I saw BCP was at .90 at worst (not sure)

Ibjust don't have much free time and constant transfers on BCP are going to be a hassle

as everyone knows if i wasnt so seriously low on money, i wouldnt bother with the constant removal and placements of such low amounts, but these amounts are significant to me (unlike to u) when my roll is this low.

Although you absolutely do have a point about my life being way too busy at the moment to deal with your adorable mixture of threats and made-up nonsense.

I've made all the TBC quotes private on the site. I'd suggest you also contact Blogspot, AVP, 2+2, and Roughingthepunter to get them to remove all of Tony's posts and quotes there as well that don't make him look good.

But to speculate as to an answer to your question we might be dealing with something as simple as: charity

I've staked Tony in the Binion's deepstack Saturday night tournament back when he was blogging some success at that poker venue. Granted he did not cash but he did last longer in that tournament than I did. I've also doubled up off of Tony in a cash game at Caesar's. So I have both given and taken money off of Tony. I did consider my staking as charity and at that time I had an expectation to actually make some money off of my stake.

  26. Tony - Perfectly fine to take the $50 out of lock. I knew you would have to do this if your roll got low. I was hoping the money would enable you to try to build your roll via poker instead of VBJ. The only stipulation to the transfer was her pay me back when he got back to $4000. Time for you to focus on things that will keep you afloat long term.

  27. Tony- Perfectly ok for you to take the stake out of lock. Seems to be getting shaky over there, plus you need all the cash on hand as possible. Your spot on about the terms - Just pay me back when you get back to $4000. I was hoping this would show you you could grow your roll playing poker. The Variance and odds are stacked way in the favor of the house on VBJ. It's time for you to focus on those things which will insure you have some basic necessities.
