guess its time to update the blog, my only real job i have. sad i dont get paid for it by people placing ads

First off its great that Seattle Irish and I will be playing poker tomorrow in Primm at 8pm in the $2-6 spread limit game, if its going, hopefully it will be since i cant afford to play $1-2 NL especially at the same table as him. he takes NL seriously, so bad idea. There are a lot of recreational players who take the game seriously, (who arent really recreational players anymore then). where most of them go wrong is they think record keeping is more important than playing solid, and no i am not saying SI is guilty of this.

I will be able to try out my new poker application on my phone, thats for record keeping for the first time, but only if i remember to use it, which isnt likely unless he reminds me.

Not sure what became of Turd Ferguson, never saw him yesterday, he got busy, but today again he should be here at 4.30pm or so. we wont be traveling anywhere though. Also im not sure why Jennifer didnt seem happy to hear i got the appointment made, wasnt that the whole goal even if i didnt get it done as quickly as she was demanding i set it up if i wanted her offer of a ride? should be the goal the job gets done and how fast it gets done not that big of an issue. She was so quick to send a new comment taking back the original offer because i was having difficulty getting thru on the phone i had already got an appt made with an attorny by the time i found her second comment and hit approve, and finished posting my own comment before i ever said anything to her, and then i never heard another word nor did Josie when she posted in comments. im not sure if Jennifer even is reading the comments instead of just the blog posts.

whatever, for all of those who dont see all the comments, the appt is June 28th at 2pm at the legal aid office with an attorny. and i will be in vegas on that day instead of Jean, so i wont be needing a ride from Jean. will be living in north las vegas for a week from June 25th to July 2. A friend who wishes to remain unnamed has arranged this at no cost to me.

new roll has been increased to $1395, and yes i know a big loss is probably overdue any minute. also i have $8 on seals, $9 on Ultimate poker, and $94 on lock. so im still hanging onto the $40 deposit the other day. if it was to all be lost, i think i might not want to deposit anymore money into online poker for awhile and stick with playing live. the other day i did think it would all be lost when i got down to $14. the $8 on seals came from a $20 lock transfer. actually i had 7 chips on seals, and now have 82 cause he sent me 75 seals. Still less than the high of $1467 i reached before the last few days in a row of big drops however.

Cutter has been rather quiet lately but Benny is staying in a room here for 5 nights, who just came back from Wendover, still no VBJ up there. so he is sometimes on the VBJ along with me, but mostly hes scanning his phone continously for sports bet info. Benny offered me a free buffet today, nice of him, which i accepted.

there is a lot of comments from the blackpimp id like to respond to, but im commenting to him or anyone else, unless they do their posting here.

Call me at 7:30 to let me know if a game is running. I'm sure you can understand that I don't want to make the trek out to Primm if there's not a game going.

  2. i certainly want u to have already left the house long before 7.30, if we are going to play at 8pm. i want to get there early, before the game changes to NL. there will be at least 4 tables going. if i call at 6 and theres 3-4 games going, do u think they will all break within 1-2 hours and id need to call back to make sure one is still going?

a little confused as to ur request seeing friday is by far the busiest night of the week and there will be multiple tables going, maybe even 10-12

    1. Fine - text me at 7:00. I can't leave any earlier.

Can I do some videotaping of you? An interview? That would be great media to drive traffic to your new degengambler.com site!

I registered the domain degengambler.com and threw wordpress on it with a wordpress bulletin board. It will also have video content and posts from various degen gamblers eventually....but I may be interested in working out some sort of deal for you to move your blog there when the site is ready. There would be conditions. Posts would have to be approved right away...but if we mutually agree it is a troll or spam post...then it could be immediately deleted.

I just registered the site and got wordpress up on it....but just wanted to give you something to think about. Alot of people who read the blog won't post here because of the format being so confusing. This would solve that problem. Send me a PM over on 2p2 (WillCK) with your email if you are interested and we can email about it.

    1. am afraid to trust WILLck due to all the negativity of his posts towards me on RTP, and i explained this at length to Mc Gee over the phone so he understands. Mc Gee might assist me in improvements to my blog.

also someday down the road, when im successful with money, dont want to be seen as listed in a pile of people who were scumbags. i manage money exceptionally well to last on it so long, and i NEVER waste my last dollar, like so many others do. todays loss was bad luck, but i made it worse playing VP out of anger. and by betting too many spots too often. simply cause i was stuck too much to quit.

to move the blog there, id need a lot of money upfront and moderators we both trust for when im asleep, such as Josie or lightning

    3. Do whatever you want Tony. I am going to develop the site either way. I just thought it would be a way for you to get a few bucks and a better format for your blog...and for me to get some instant traffic to the site.

  4. just got done hanging out with TF and his wife, and u can tell they have money looking at his wifes jewelry. both were very nice, and were on their way to shop in Primm. was in a good mood since i ended up leaving the VBJ up $84, more than half of which i was up when they first walked in. new roll $1479.

down to $49 on lock though. they also told me miamicane (scott davies) is going to move to canada from the aria where he lives in a really nice apartment for $1350 a month. For the purpose of playing on stars, same as i would like to do. they say hes doing really well in PLO.

  5. The only way you can tell if someone has money or not is by looking at their investment account statements.

Looking at people's possessions might tell you that they HAD money on pay day and decided to spend it. Doctors are notoriously famous for blowing every dollar they earn instead of putting them to use in creating more dollars. Ever wonder why so many doctors are so old? It's not because they love their jobs. It's the fact that they don't have enough to retire on because they blow it all trying to live a baller lifestyle.

    1. Yeah, another clue is if a someone is going to shop in Primm. Then you might know they might have HAD money but do not anymore :)

    2. lol - perhaps they're reasonably wealthy people who enjoy bargain shopping. Nothing wrong with that.

Besides - if you were able to combine a budget shopping adventure with a TBC meet-N-greet, who in their right mind would say no?

      s.i.

p.s. - I'm serious about interviewing you tonight. Nothing formal, just some off-the-cuff questions with some video responses. I think your viewers would love it. You down wit dat?

    3. sure, in exchange for a small amount of money, i desperately need it now, lost $365 total between the first session and the 2nd session, which includes the $130 lost on the VP machine.

    4. Tony:

No, I'm NOT paying you money to interview you. Do you not understand what I was offering? I was offering you video to post on YOUR new site so YOU could drive viewer traffic and increase ad revenue.

Interviewing you doesn't benefit me in the slightest. Why would I pay you money for that? The only person who would benefit from that interview would be you. Should I now ask you to pay me for the interview? What was your thinking there?

      s.i.

p.s. - make sure you call at 7:00 if you want to play tonight. I know how spooked you get about a loss and I'm feeling like you're going to go into cower mode and I'm not wanting to drive out to Primm for a no-show.

    5. Way to monetize your brand.

I thought you posted recently you have learned your lessons, and will not play -ev machines again. I hope the VP machine was paying >100% with comps.

    6. s.i. is being unreasonable. All the big names (Clinton, Bush, et cetera) command large payments for speaking engagements. No reason the "King of Degen" should not be compensated for his valuable time,

    7. can i give u that call now? id much rather go there earlier, but Mc Gee cant because he is busy watching kids, he is considering joining us at 8pm in Primm. i hate to just sit in my room playing $1-2 sngs with this final $9-10 on lock, but theres really nothing else to do. i wish id have used a system closer to cutters, but capped the bet at 2-3 spots, i take less risk that way than 5 spots of 1%. also playing 98% or more VP is really dumb and im ashamed of myself, ive played way less VP in Jean than VBJ, but lost almost as much simply due to the much larger hold for the house.

    8. Tony - watch TV . . . go for a walk . . . read a book or magazine . . . not every second of your day spent awake has to involve gambling. Live life, man

    9. in my opinion wasting my time doing fun things instead of spending every second trying to improve my shitty economic circumstances is a poor use of my time, and being lazy. i define lazy a little differently than most of my readers.

  6. Tony keep maintaining the roll or growing it slowly so you have something to play with in Vegas. No big losses! You are in control of this. Stick to Cutter's chart.

Very nice of Benny to buy you a buffet meal. +1

  7. lost $162 VBJ, new roll $1317. also in a DON sng with $30 of the last $37 on lock. at least that loss wasnt more. still would prefer to be playing cheap omaha8 or $2-6 spread games.

  8. Take a look at Bill's offer. If its on Wordpress.org (not .com)it'll take Google ads, and you can make some money (I assume split with Bill if he's doing the maintenance, and admin).

Remember last time you were getting $100 a month until you blew them off.

    1. i got nowhere close to $100 a month, maybe every 2-3 months. never blew them off, just accidently violated the rules, and wasnt allowed to correct it. their legal agreement is so complicated no one would understand everything hidden in the terms and conditions ahead of time. im afraid willck would want me to trust him to give me the money later, and way less than half, and id prefer just getting money upfront.

    2. You haven't even PMed me on 2p2 to find out what I am offering....so don't assume anything until you do....PM me your email on 2p2 and I will get back to you. I am not going to discuss it in an open forum.

  9. You lost $162 playing VBJ?
You previously stated you could not afford to pay for accommodation in Las Vegas....yet, that $162 could have paid for 3/4 of a weeks accommodation here...http://www.holidayroyale.com/gstudio.asp
or here http://www.manorsuites.com/rates.htm or here or weekly rates starting at $175 here http://www.theblairhousesuites.com/home OR take a short term let at The Orleans Casino for $25 a night...http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/roo/3862628925.html
You could then be playing poker in Vegas.
This info was gathered in a total of 5 mins spent Googling.
Affordable accommodation is out there Tony. I think that you just can't be bothered to find it. You certainly can afford it....but you prefer to spend you money on VBJ....slowly wittling your BR down knowing that if you cry loud enough, someone else will pick up the tab for the roof over your head.
That's nothing to be proud of.

  10. Omfg there's no excuse for being so dumb. Guess you really didn't want a roll for playing poker. That's your decision.

    1. well u cant look at the money lost, u can only look at what i would lose OVER THE LONG RUN making those same bets i made today. probably not more than $5-15 is all. (except for the poor payback VP) cant look at the short run couldve won and had been winning at almost the same bets all week. today i shouldve gave it up though. at least now ill be sitting on lock in micro limits with this last $8-9 til i see MC gee or SI, and arent u sometime coming for the wsop?

    2. Could've, would've, and should've...all three words contained in this paragraph. Wake up and play poker.

  11. none of that is even remotely affordable. affordable means no more than $400 a month, tops. and blair house is almost $50 to $75 a week more than what u say if u read their website closely and look at ALL the fine print. if i really wanted to pay for housing in vegas, why wouldnt i just go back to paying $154 a week by sams town? would certainly be a far more convenient location to the buses as far as getting around than holiday royale. what do u mean by LET? is that another way to spell short term LEASE? its NOT in the casino its a room in someones home who lives next to there. and if it WAS in the casino, i sure wouldnt pay a stranger for it, who could have security throw me out or anyone hiding in the room, id buy my own for almost the same price.

no i cant afford any of this til im back to at least $2500. if i go into vegas, ill just do without housing til i grind up enough to live on. only an exceptionally rich person used to $400 a week accomodations in NYC or san fransico would ever consider $25 a day to be cheap and affordable. now when i lived in ks for $7 a day, ($200 month) that was affordable. u can get a very nice luxury apt in vegas with ur own washer and dryer for much less cost than the places u showed me. the only reason i cant take them is u have to sign a lease and pay monthly.

u are just another man whose guilty of results oriented thinking that people tell me NOT to do.

pretend the loss was at poker instead. pretend i had a 50-50 flip and the money got in preflop. and say i lost the hand. would u still say i was dumb for not spending it? if u say that everytime u lose, when the actual EV cost of the bet is like a few cents on every $100, u dont belong gambling. ask Groovin Mahoovin who discussed the $800 sandwich wasnt an $800 sandwich. too bad he will never see this. in BJ, u will lose about 50% of the money bet, maybe even a little more since i count comps as money at times. but very slightly more. only $230 was lost on VBJ today, and that was about what was won on BJ in the last 8 days so about even overall. so no real cost to me, certainly not nearly the cost of renting a room. i should be looking for a place under $100 a week, and thats only in the shittiest and most unsafe of places.

i think im quite responsible with money not to ever run out, so many people spend every cent they have til they are broke and thats stupid

    1. No, that is called paying your own bills and making a living. Most people in your position would have ZERO money to gamble with, and would try to eek by on the roll till they found work. I guess in your opinion that is stupid though.

  13. So Tony, I guess you won't be paying your internet and phone bill this month now that you just took a massive hit on your roll. Oh well, you had the money to do it, and it was your choice to play the machines again. Just won't learn, will you. Good luck next month when your bills all double.
