daily update

im not going to post anything because i was too upset last night about the results to post, had no way to get online til i got over to this starbucks today, and new roll is just under $600 after paying $6 here and a daily $7 bus pass. but that game isnt beatable. the rake is just too much, and i dont trust any of the dealers but 1.

i need to try the sink or swim method and i also need to get a lot further north. tried again to call and find out about the tour bus to Jean, and they said they only do groups. yet i know theres a bus with a lot of the same people on it i was told by the passengers before picks up somewhere downtown or in gardena near the normandy. the one with all the elderly black passengers. i would so much appreciate finding out where to board it at.

also found out about a game at the lucky derby in sacramento $20-100 buyin. too bad im not around that area of cali. and i need all clean clothes again or to go hunt and find that suitcase near el cajon. should be doing all the work today instead of playing while ive got the daily pass, and use it getting back up as far north as i can with the pass, which would be oceanside. lots of kids in here with laptops, some of whom look homeless. id sworn this one guy who looks like 12-14 but must be 18 was with his mother til they started making out. she must be 18-25 but looks 30.

the reason i gave Josie the mod powers to delete anything i say when mad was i know someday ill say a lot of terrible things in this blog ill regret, threats that will get me in serious trouble with the law. am really about to snap because i feel im being cheated just because im too broke to tip and yet i gave out a $7 tip just the day before, and a $1 tip when i got $50 ahead shortly after i sat last night before i then lost heavily all night. found a huge box to hide out and sleep in all night around spring valley.

also my phone shutoff is about to happen, the $219 past due, they are started to call me and im afraid if i tell them the truth they will know they arent getting anything so will shut it off sooner. i worry if they shut it off where i cant get codes ill lose access to my google blogger acct.

  3. Tony:

    STOP. GAMBLING. NOW.

You just admitted the game is unbeatable. Stop throwing your money away. You need some minimal level of cash just to maintain a few options - food . . . a bus ticket somewhere . . . shelter for the night . . . some emergency. You are down to that level now.

For once, do the sensible thing and STOP. GAMBLING.

As crazy as it sounds, pan handling would be a more productive use of your time . . .

Don't gamble away your last few dollars . . .

  4. Truth is you should have just stayed on SSI/govt housing and lived out your quiet life in Kansas. You could have just slowly saved your money, hidden it in cash, and goto Vegas a couple times a year to get your fix. Sure you wouldn't be able to play poker/gamble 24/7 but at least you would have a home. The Casino life simply isn't for you. You have proven time and time again that anytime you get money you find some way to throw it away be it on machines, women, cab rides etc. I do believe you are a decent card player but you are horrific at managing your money. The fact that you considered yourself wealthy when u had just over 10k shows how bad you are with money.

    1. maybe the reason i managed the money poorly is i feel having a lot of money is a sin, so i tried to make sure i didnt have too much.

    2. Sorry having a lot money is not a sin...

There! Now go ahead and gamble it up sans guilt...

    3. Well, if you believe that having too much money is a sin, then I think that you might be heading toward sainthood fairly soon. Looks like you're going to miss lightning36 and his car in Vegas in a little over a month.

    4. Your definition of sin fits what makes you jealous.

  5. Tony, how much money would your mom charge you in rent each month if you were to go home for a while to get your life in order?

I bet, if you went home with the intention of finding a job, and conducted yourself like an adult, not a child, and helped out with some work around the house, et cetera, while looking or a job, she would work with you. In fact, I bet that $600 you currently have would appease her for two or three months (assuming she really charged you rent at all).

Please do us the favor of explaining (a) whether you have spoken to your mom about this; and (b) why you feel pan handling and living in a box on the street is a better option for you.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. its pretty clear its not a good idea to go there and spend the last $600 til im broke, the idea should be to grow the money daily and spend as close to $0 as possible. at least in cali u can generate at least some income by panhandling. ks is too small to panhandle and the police wont let u like they will in cali

      Delete
    2. It's clear only in your mind, Tony. I'm pretty sure it makes a hell of a lot of sense to everyone except you.

It's not rationale to opt to panhandle and live in a damn box out on the streets, trying to beg-up money for a poker buy-in, rather than go home to your family.

Are you ready to admit that you are severely addicted to gambling at this point?

  6. What a shit show!!! Hadn't read the blog in over a month, and now it's a train wreck $600 away from destruction!!! So you go from the cheapest place to live, to Southern California which has some of the highest costs of living, all in search for the $40nl game... So you now live on the streets due to having a gambling addiction, yet you don't think you have a problem. You are going so backwards in life, and I feel bad for you, but just like a true addict, you need to hit rock bottom to realize what a junkie you are. Believe it or not, a gambling junky is just as bad as a drug junky

  9. there was a guy at the trolly stop who looked homeless out shilling for some college and was talking about $1400 stipend for certain types of jobs and training. surely theres a gimmick, he got my name and phone and said someone would call this evening and people who are homeless qualify. i think its a trick to get u into the college, no money til u get hired and that might never happen. u might even get charge up front, surely he gets a commission for finding those who are interested. any ideas what this gimmick is?

    1. Why would people ever give you money PRIOR to you doing your part? I know you're desperate, but that's just nonsense

And i bet those dealers think just as highly of you as you do them.

      Delete
    2. Yeah the college gets its money upfront from the government and you are stuck with a loan you can not file bankruptcy on. Tony its time to move on.

      Delete
    3. I agree that the college is probably some diploma mill that sets people up for failure and default. However, I'm not sure that would really matter in Tony's case. If/when he does default on his student loan, the only thing they could do is garnish his wages (none) or withhold his tax return (none).

Tony can thank his lucky stars there is no longer debter's prison, but I think this is one of those rare times where there's not much downside for him. Of course, we taxpayers end up paying...

  11. good news. i went over to the village club cardroom for the first time, with a roll of $595. bought in for $50 in the $2-3 NL, and found out that was the min buyin, not $30 as on the website. very quickly got moved to $3-6 omaha, and they do it a little different. mandatory kill for a scoop of $45 or more, but either winner can voluntarily post a $6 kill when its not a scoop, and it seems that happens a LOT. so it inflates the pot more than u would expect. i ran that $50 up to $202, tipped the dealer several times, and was glad id finally found a good game thats beatable, or was i just running good? anyway i cashed out $143 once i began losing, and then went across the street and talked the barber into giving me BOTH a beard removal and a haircut for $10 total, he didnt have anything else to do so he accepted, normally it wouldve been a little higher. so now im sitting in the starbucks again, with a new roll of $678. thats not much of a roll at all, but at least its better than the $595 i was down to when i walked into starbucks.

    1. u were just running good, tony.next time u play that game . u will say that the dealers r against u and such

    2. Winning session - the game is beatable best game ever i am so good i could live forever here and win $50k a year

Losing session - this game isnt beatable the rake is outrageous and the game is fixed all the dealers are cheating

And write off the suitcase already. Google mildew if you don't understand why.

  12. They made a mistake about the $50 deposit bonus, even tho they had it just like I posted here on their website, they have now changed it to 1st time deposit bonus.

    3. I did deposit because of this and sent several emails and they refuse to give it to me. Very bad for business because it was their mistake for misprinting it to start with.

  13. remember the homeless guy i told u about at the busstop, or at least a black guy who looked very poor. anyway, seems that college or whatever followed thru on what he wrote down, they called my cell, (thank God the village cardroom charges cells for their clients), or id not ever known. they sure have better policies at that cardroom than Sycuan which are more friendly to people with cellphones and laptops.

so i have an appointment at 10.30, in suite 300 in a building at 7th and broadway in downtown san diego, to talk about getting into this job training program with a $1400 upfront stipend. i am sure there's a gimmick but i sure could use some type of cash. it will be an interview of about 20 minutes and the first lady i talked to said i should qualify since i have a high school diploma even though im jobless and homeless currently. seems it is to train u with different technical type jobs i know nothing about, that involve cables, computers, and similar type of things. the only thing i havent told them yet is how little ive been in san diego. i did tell them i supported myself gambling, and recently lost all the money. what does anyone think my chances for success would really be?? too bad i cant afford a room for tonight, im tired now, and it would help to make sure i show up on time. also mom is sending a ton of replies to my posts on facebook about coming home too

    4. I am sure either you won't show up or you will do the same thing you did at NAPS and show up and decide you don't like the people in the waiting room and getting money sounds hard and leave.

I feel like this is going to be you get $1400 off the tuition but there will be an out of pocket expense involved. There is no inventive to anyone giving you money to pretend you want to learn job skills until the cheque clears.

    1. this is an easy one to answer--starbucks is LOADED up with electrical outlets everywhere. ive often seen 0 in most fast food places and had to keep walking til i found a restaraunt with a plugin. plus starbucks lets u sit longer. by the way, i just barely made it to 10th place in my freeroll on pokerdominicano, where each of us got $10 each in the nightly freeroll.
