I want to go back to Jean, and grind the VBJ machine and live a stress free live. i also want to put some money in a VP machine downtown.

New roll $1356, and of course, not 1 bill has gotten paid. (unless u want to count my room for 4 nights at the golden gate til friday noon). that cost $114 with tax, so i didnt get too bad of a deal. of course, my internet will be shut off anyday, and im sure not paying $9.99 a day for their wifi. also my phone i owe $114 on, and i do not have any idea why its so much higher than i thought it would be. am seriously concerned about these bills, and seriously concerned why i have so little when i was briefly over $1700 after being up in a stake at the V recently.

King of donks is home now, but he did get to meet Tatude finally before he went home. and also tatude gave me a lift to TX station where i got to finally play in the sun nite omaha game there with almost everyone having NL overs, but i not only lost in it, i didnt even get to play long at all, game breaks a lot earlier than i expected it would.

and i moved out of the place by NLV blvd and Craig one night early so i wouldnt have to deal with taking a bus home in the middle of the night when i knew no way in hell would i be ready to both sleep and wake up for checkout before 11, when i didnt wake up tonight til after 6pm. so that cost me $29 extra too (for monday nights room). i need to see about all these weeklies near downtown or near the strip and charleston blvd before friday when ill need one.

and yes im still losing my ass when i play anywhere other than Suncoast. Lost $140 tonight in $1-2 NL at the nugget, and also close to $30-40 more in $2-4 limit. and i was on serious tilt anyway because instead of giving Vince the $16 i offered him for storing some things and taking me there, i accidently gave him $36 and havent been able to reach him since. So with that, (and my room at the golden gate) i was seriously feeling stuck when i first sat. also i wanted to ride a bus to the V and play omaha instead, but the light show was on and the street blocked off temporaly at the bus stop til it ended, and i didnt feel like waiting.

so i left the nugget stuck all that, and decided to walk into the Plaza where im banned (and no one knows why, not even security, just that its in their system). I know this because they also own the LVC and security at the LVC tried to see once why i was banned, and they couldnt find out why, just that some person running the hotel at the Plaza had put it in the system about 2 yrs earlier, so they made me check out of my room there a few years back once. i noticed the VBJ is missing, but the craps still exists, and its also missing from the LVC too. i was looking for the new poker pro electronic tables supposedly in there, but if they exist i couldnt find them. i did play a VP machine for about an hour, and lost about $8. But i still am glad i hadnt touched one in so long, about 2 weeks or more. left without security ever noticing me.

i knew id lose sooner or later, and my expenses would eat me up, and im lucky KOD came to town because it helped get my roll up a bit. But seriously, i need to go back to riding the bus to suncoast and do all my playing there, just do it early enough in the day to where theyres still a game. and i need to be looking around for housing too, but after being out so much tonight, cant really afford anything. i fear things are going to get back after all. But at least i dont have to deal with riding the 113 bus at night anymore after seeing one person with a big knife on the bus drunk out of her mind, and another person flashing a gun in HIS purse. and why did McGee never return to vegas?

and i dont feel i played either hand badly. one hand i had AA, and a guy with a lot of chips (sure were a lot of main event WSOP players playing at the nugget lately) makes it $7 in mid position. i am in the BB with AA. a lady who knows all the famous women pros calls as did one other person. i made it $22 (how much would u made it) with about $68 more behind. they both called. flop comes 349 with 2 spades. i bet $45 and he called, she folds. turn comes 2, and i bet the last of my chips and he calls, river Q which scares me, but he flopped 444. what a horrible call preflop since i was too shortstacked to deny him the right odds. i should have had $200 or more for the call to be correct.

also Vook is in town, but refuses to let me know about it. had to find out 3rd hand.

other hand, i had 10 10 and raised to $10 preflop and got one caller, who had limped in mid position. he is first to act on flop of 268 with 2 diamonds. and checks, i bet $20 and he called. turn is 6, i go allin for about $30 more, and he called. turns out he has 67 of diamonds for a set and flush draw. and he won.

and since im starving, i guess ill walk to mcdonalds and back. not sure what to go play, am afraid to play more NL at the nugget, $2-4 is a waste of time, and i dont really feel like riding the bus to the V. and i cant play UP here. i also found out the Jean machine VBJ does exist at the V, but its a $5 min and a much higher maximum, and it was full so i couldnt look at the rules to find out when it shuffled and if it will show. noticed that when there with tatude and KOD.

    1. no one ever truly thought id never touch another machine, unless it was Josie, but she shouldnt thought that way. i think i made incredible progress staying off for 2 weeks, not just one, and then investing so little in it before quitting. i certainly didnt stay on it all night trying to get even and end up doubling my nugget loss. I think Josie will realize im actually doing well once she thinks about it, she is just upset right now i gave in to temptation.

    2. Or you could just sack up and not play at all like you promised?

  3. Serious question here...

Lets say you hit a royal on that VP machine at the Plaza for like $1,000 and it required a hand pay. Would they have refused to pay you the jackpot since you are technically banned from their property?

  4. Re-read your old blogs. You were stressed out in Jean.

The only way you are going to relieve stress is to get an income that covers your expenses. You have proven that you can not do that by gambling. You will have to find another way to earn a living. (Or maybe your e-panhandling is your other way. That seems to be working for now. So, kudos to you.)

    1. i would think the $1800 a month the suncoast game is worth would cover expenses but i must adjust to playing the proper hours its going, and be willing to ride the bus no matter how long a ride. right now i really should be trying to find a good weekly i want to actually live at long term instead of waiting til the last minute at friday checkout.

    1. its not entirely off the table, but its certainly not morally right, so i have to be extremely desperate to do it. People with class and dignity depend on friends and family they dont ask the govt. although my mom and son arent in a position to help me, even though they never have any financial worries since they live off ssi as their only income.

  6. Hello Tony,

    First time blog poster.

    1) The poker room inside the Plaza is on the right hand side of the casino from the main entry. I believe it is in the old "high limit gaming" room. There were 3 poker tables that I could see the other day.

No one was able to tell me when it opens, just sometime in July.

2)I see you are on Twitter but did not take advantage of the free $100 Ultimate Poker was giving away along with free entry to a $15k freeroll simply for submitting a photo of yourself playing live or online with a UP patch. Only 75 people did it. That was $100 cash to account plus a $200 buy in.

    3) Good luck at Venetian.

    4) From reading your last entries about Jean, Nevada it appears that you did not want to be there.

    5) How/Why did you get banned from the Plaza?

    1. the head of security at the LVC a few years ago was unable to figure out why i was banned there, no one knew. (i was sitting in his office). i knew nothing about the free $100 for the patch nor did any of my posters. and no one knew where to get the free patch, i think that was only for people in the wsop tourneys. it wasnt even mentioned on the 2+2 thread so people could find out about it which i read all the time.

  7. if you were "seriously concerned" about your bills, you would have paid them instead of waiting for someone else to pay them. You could have made payment arrangements but you didn't do anything about them. And once again you are back on the machines. Different day, same story and same result. Have you called the Mental Health Center again. They also have walk in services available. You just have to get there early and be willing to wait.

    1. never really had enough money, i need a min of $2500 to have enough to work with and pay for housing, and that is far more important and must be taken care of first. also, paying small amounts from time to time does NOTHING to reduce the total that must be paid, and might even increase it

      Delete
    2. You are a complete moron if you believe this

      Delete
    3. I didn't suggest paying a small amount from time to time, I suggested making an arrangement of like cutting it into two payments each so you wouldn't take such a big hit at once. And if you are able to make 60 per day at Omaha as you claim, that would just be one day play per arrangement for your tmobile for example. It will at least keep your service on. And since there is walk in service at the clinic, are you going to go

    4. Paying small amounts doesn't increase your bill. Not paying your bill increases your bill

  8. I don't think Jean is the answer but its your choice. I really don't see how you can grow your roll there and do anything else but tread water. It's easier because you don't a have to change rooms, take a bus etc, but I don't see it as a real solution. You are in better shape since coming to Vegas and have covered a few weeks of housing. I think you should continue to work on the SSI just to have it there as a safety net.

Got a chance to meet and talk to Cooldave and KOD. Both very nice guys and hopefully can play some poker if I meet up with them again. Kinda been staying away as my heads not in it. Alot gets made about people's staking arrangements with Tony and its really that persons business not anyone's else. Both those guys are successful and I don't think they are trying to pay bills by staking Tony and its worked out in their favor. I don't need to speak for them at all they are very capable of doing that themselves.People stake him for a variety of reasons. Most that I'm aware of can afford to lose the money and aren't stressed over the cut. I've met a good group of people thru Tonys blog that come from every walk of life and are people I might not of met otherwise.
Tony I m not gonna try to run your life. You are smart and should know the right thing to do bit that's up to you. Regarding the table talk I didn't see much but the less you tell other players the better and gloating about a hand is never a good idea. I know your autism affects how you talk at times but its something to keep in mind. Hope things work out for you whatever you decide. Just because Jean is an easier option does not mean its the best. You pretty much avoided the machines for awhile so keep at it. Go back to the games that work for you. As always I think poker is a better option

  10. a couple questions about the AA hand...

    1. were you ahead or stuck for the day??

im assuming you were ahead because if you are stuck you shove with AK so why not with AA and over $20.00 in the pot.

    2. how long had you been at the table and had you been keeping your mouth shut or were you annoying people talking about your blog, roll, playing ability etc.??

if you were shooting your mouth off then im sure most of the table was trying to stack you so you would go away.

  11. dude raised to $7, gets 2 callers then you raise to $22 would seem to mean there is $42 (- rake that is about to be removed). It is $15 more to call plus his call increases the likelihood that 2 players behind will also call. $15 to win $68 is getting the 4.5:1 odds he will hit set on flop. Money already in pot would push it to profitable.

    ReplyDelete

    1. there were not 2 people behind him who also called, and odds of flopping a set are much higher than 4.5 to 1, but i am thinking maybe i shouldve reraised more with aa? i was actually trying to double up since i was behind. had i been ahead, id felt more like making a bigger raise to protect my profit. but i wanted a reraise allin, not callers.

today i did the right thing, rode the bus to suncoast, am sitting here playing omaha. currently up $40 and my must move game broke, and im the only one still on the list for the other game. been waiting an hour

      Delete
    2. My bad 4.5 to 1 is for all 5 cards, it's 7.5 to 1 on flop.

you did say raise to 7, lady that knew all pros and one other called.
      You raised to $22.

Was it the initial raiser who called, lady or other?

  12. i got online Tmobile website to find out why my bill was $114 and it seems like its higher because im still being charged the extra $30 a month from the past, seems like the $200 payment didnt pay that up, but just the normal higher sized monthly bills for most of may and june. its been due a while, but becomes late paid on July 12th. also got the notice in the mail my internet can be cut off anytime. and it also bugs me there seems to be no way to email support, u are pretty much forced to make phone calls.

  13. no one really has the right to be that upset i lost $8 and played VP for an hour last night, i am still not playing the machines again on a regular basis, and arent starting back up just because i did last night. i kept my word to Josie staying off for well longer than a week, and invested very little in the machine. at no point was i behind more than $25. i would think anyone would see that was real progress if they really stopped to think about it. did she think i would never play a machine the rest of my life? anyway, to show i am serious, ill put a $20 bounty on myself if anyone catches me on one in vegas before August. naturally that wont apply outside of vegas if i ended up back in Jean because i cant get housing elsewhere, but as long as i am in vegas it will apply.

am wondering if the $60 a day me and others agreed i should average profit at the omaha game is enough to pay my rent, and phone and net and food and busfare, and anything else

    http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/27/brick-mortar/lvh-las-vegas-poker-room-hype-thread-1344004/

LVH is opening a poker room this Friday and there is talk about trying to spread 4/8 stud or stud/8 and 4/8 omaha as well as 1/2nl. Don't think your barred there right?

Might take awhile to build those games but I am sure they can get 1/2nl especially weekends and when big conventions are there.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Same old story Tony. Once again you have crapped big time on Josie, SI,KOD and others who helped you over the past couple of weeks.

You are back on the machines. You are back to sneaking into casinos from where you have been banned. What would you have done if you had hit a jackpot on the machine in the Plaza and they refused to pay you because you were banned from being in there? You are back to not having paid your phone bill. You are back to not having paid your internet bill. You are too lazy to get your ass out of bed to go and see the Nevada Mental Health Center at 7.30 in the morning to get the help you need.

Guess what Tony? Since your internet is likely to be cut off any day now, I just thought you might like to know that I am really disappointed and pissed off with you. Your laziness has rubbed off onto me, I would rather stay in bed than waste my time trying to convince you to get help. You will not get another bit of financial help off me until you sort out all of the above things you need to do.

Tony - did you fill out all the papers the lawyer gave you? Make sure you fill those out. Also, fill out the Mental Health paperwork before going? Are you going Wednesday?

If you really feel it's morally wrong, you don't HAVE to do it. You will be homeless and you will probably die a violent, short, and painful death, but you can certainly choose that option. Please let me know, as I do find it frustrating to "help" you when you don't seem to want to follow through with anything that doesn't provide immediate "roll" benefits. If I know you will not be pursuing it on moral grounds, I can adjust my attitude and behaviors accordingly.

  18. SI,

Don't fall for the moral crap. It's an excuse. Period. He has no moral scruples about gambling, prostitution, pan handling, flipping out on people, using hate filled words or blatant displays of bigotry.. He only has moral scruples against getting a job or accepting assistance funded specifically FOR people like him because it isn't fun, he has to actually be semi responsible and he isn't doing what he wants to do.

The reality check is.. Life isn't always about doing what you want, and Tony needs to learn that. He only does exactly enough to get a handout or stake or bill paid, then he's right back to the same bullshit. This time his efforts got him a ride to Vegas, Jodie's help with the blog and her attention, tons of stakes and visits, a free weeks lodging, and at least a suitcase. Now that's drying up and he's right back to the machines and stupidity.

He's a pretty smart con artist. But this ends in him dead at a bus station after midnight, knifed for $20. Or worse, a small toothache becomes an infection he barely notices, and it gets in his blood and kills him. There is a reason you see very few OLD homeless people, especially in Vegas. There are some, sure, but most of them are receiving some medical care from the VA or the like.

Tony.. It is morally wrong for someone to abuse the system for financial gain. YOU are the very definition of WHY these programs were created. MY tax dollars have paid for them. There is no moral conflict with you using them. Please, please follow through and get help.
