Finally, a day where i didnt lose anything playing live. bought in for $30 at samstown today, only because of the AA cracked going on, and ended up winning $45 by the time the game broke early at 10pm when the promo ended. I could get by if i could only manage to do that everyday. and i never went near any slot machines today. Just grabbed 2 potato salads and left, so id have at least something in the house, and now down to only $2 comps. Will have those to eat tonight before Vince moves me out tomorrow, and it was so nice of Dmuzio to hand me a free hotdog and bag of chips when he busted out of the tourny he was in.

So that brings up my roll back to $551 from $506, and hopefully ill get the other $100 from UP credited by midnite tomorrow night. And im still hanging onto a little over $101 on Bovada. Also hear wsop is opening up, but theres some dispute about which games they will offer. the 2+2 thread says it will have PLO high, and plo8 and stud can quickly be added later on. (i tend to believe that one because its their official thread). not sure if Bill Rini, (a blogger) who is their rep, is aware of my blog or not, but he seems to be the one running the show.

I am hoping ill be able to play on that site once i send in my documents. id hate to think i couldnt simply because i cant go in the casinos and my harrahs card is listed as banned. maybe if i can play online, since they reward u by using ur harrahs card, id be assigned a new harrahs card as a new customer, and then id finally have a harrahs card thats not listed as banned. i dont think theyd be allowed to seize my money, all they could do is to refuse my acct, or refund my money once i start playing.

So yeah Vince will be getting me out of here before noon, and hopefully moms package will be in the office, actually i should check on it tonight and see if it came early. and he will be storing everything including a microwave, although ill be taking to Ks whatever i can fit on a train. not heard back from the email i sent KOD and i take that to be a bad sign, did he change his mind about buying me a free ticket?

Thats a really good promo at samstown, (the $599 paid in early Oct for 125 hours play in september) and id like to do it, surely u wont lose more than that playing very tight against old folks getting ur hours in, but then again ive taken some bad losing days at $2-6 lately. i dont have the money but i really hate to miss out on this, wish i could work a deal with someone else to share in the profits above and beyond what theyd advance me to do the promo. what i mean is theyd not only get back their money with profits, theyd also get a share of the house promotional money, so it certainly wouldnt be considered a handout or gift, it would be a business arrangement beneficial to both parties. One old man whose quite tight and plays all the time said tonight he lost $70 for the months play, got the $599 and came out $529 ahead.

Jason should know how much this would benefit both me and the backer, since hes familiar with the promo. to take an extreme example, lets say someone was only 5-10 hours away from having $599, and yet was too broke to buyin. of course, i need a lot more hours than that. But it does show how making sure someone could get their hours in has potential to benefit both parties.

and had i been playing on Bovada this much back in the days of VBJ in Jean and the $1200-1600 roll i had about 2 months way back, id been so much better off. but i didnt realize how easy it was to win on Bovada and grind up a small roll was back then. im sure im running above average but i have a little over 66% roi in the DONS and i think it will fall back to like 55-60% from 70-75% when it stabilizes.

and thanks to everyone who offered to help store kitchen supplies, clothes, microwave, etc had Vince not came thru.

Called and wrote SI to talk to him about going out to Opp Village to see if they had any kind of work that i could do thats simple enough, kind of like that mailroom job with RL Polk back in cleveland in 1991. he will call and ask them some questions tomorrow, because hes not sure if they would take me on, because we arent sure how we go about proving my aspergers, he says several of their clients have that. and i dont remember the location of the place PokerJohnny told me about for the job i talked about on RTP he spoke of. (the telemarketing job thats salary instead of commission, where u dont actually have to talk to anyone). but the machine talks for u. But id need to know fast if they could get me in anywhere right away because unless i get immediate work i have to go to KS because i cant even afford $60 a week at vinces im so low, nor can i afford to play live. ONLY on Bovada. and i have no way to earn free rooms in Jean anymore to play on Bovada there. and it seems wsop isnt even offering a big signup bonus like UP did.

i'm not sure if my credit report has been fucked up yet or not, or how early these $600+ worth of unpaid bills with Tmobile and verizon will be reported. it probably already has. the big fear is it will make it next to impossible to get an apt by the month even if i find work or get SSI, so i might have to take the Todd motor hotel at $550 a month if i get into a place by the month instead of the week when i can.

i feel like a terrible fool for losing the $96 on the VP the day before at samstown, when the bankroll briefly fell to $481. thats a much worse sin than it used to be because my roll is so much less now. But its the only failure in awhile. i mean the only minus EV game i played, since i dont consider my play on UP to be minus EV nor the $2-6 spread game losses. thats just bad variance, but this 1c2c5c spin poker with a 97-98% payback that was dumb as hell.

  4. You shouldn't be allowed to play on WSOP.com if you're verified and currently 86'd from Harrah's. I'm pretty sure this is what we were told at this years WSOP Orientation, but to make sure, I emailed Seth Palansky (Director of Media/Communications for CET). He'll get back with me shortly and I will post here.

Also, you don't need KOD to buy you a ticket. Aren't you taking your senior citizen mother's precious dollars as reimbursement for your travel expenses? I'm pretty sure that's exactly what you're doing. Wouldn't it be incredibly dishonest to take her money for travel reimbursement, the $300 she offered you, AND a free ticket from KoD?

    1. we really have no proof im banned nationwide, i just think i am since my card showed up as banned after harrahs joliet. but it used to be banned years ago too til i got a new card. its possible its listed as banned due to harrahs vegas putting it in the system before the times i was found asleep in the convention center years ago. ill never know til i write harrahs about the ban, so tell me how i email seth to talk to him about this. Grump and i tried to write before but evidently wrote the wrong guy cause no one ever wrote back. (we wrote the head of security for bills, flamingo, harrahs and IP) how do i reach seth at the corporate office, or is he also the wrong guy? whats weird is harrahs joliet said they were only doing it for Joliet.

    2. Seth is the director of communications for Caesars International. I only have a line to him because of the magazine. He has nothing to do with employee bans. I would suggest getting on the phone and calling the properties and asking if you're banned. You are unlikely to get away with a WSOP.com account otherwise; once they catch it.

      Delete
    3. Did you call to find out about your bans? This is almost zero work, and wouldn't take much time. When do you plan on doing it?

      Delete
    4. this isnt something they tell u over the phone, they arent sure its u. the proper way to do it, ive been told, is to write to them. sure they will say in person if i walk in im banned there, but they wont know if im in the nationwide system.

Tony.. You do know that section 8 housing is privately owned right? The government just uses welfare to pay the rest of your rent to the landlord, and you pay a small part. How do you feel about that?

    Tony BigcharlesSeptember 16, 2013 at 5:19 PM

there is NO private landlord, i never was on section 8. it was a building that said on the sign it was owned by the govt, and thats why NO normal tenants lived there like they do in regular section 8. all of the tenants were either elderly or disabled, no kids in the building. Its run by the city of Lyons Public housing authority. can u explain how thats a private landlord? as always most of u including JG, dont know what they are talking about, and if she dont know what shes talking about on this, how can i trust her to know whats shes talking about on anything else?

    Jennifer GaySeptember 17, 2013 at 12:42 AM

Jesus, Tony. You're not stupid. Disabled, yes, but surely you're not serious right? Do you understand what public housing is? Obama doesn't own homes that he's kind enough to let certain types of people rent. Read up on some basics here: http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=2528

Public Housing is run by private groups, and sometimes municipal chapters.. But the cost difference between operation overhead (maintenance, staff, mortgage) and the rent you pay is paid by the government. It's welfare, Tony. So since I'm so desperately uneducated on all things, please doll, explain.. How do you feel about accepting government welfare?

To be even MORE specific, here is the amount of government money given to the "Lyons Public Housing" group in 2013. The exact number of welfare dollars. ($148,000 I believe).

    http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=4&ved=0CEQQFjAD&url=http%3A%2F%2Fportal.hud.gov%2Fhudportal%2Fdocuments%2Fhuddoc%3Fid%3DCAPFUND2013.PDF&ei=71o4Uu7BBIns8wTE8oGYBg&usg=AFQjCNHLpF845nz7Pcano8jsZXLDH-gEaQ&sig2=axWdh2Yy6yBnVzE0lLHueg

It's a document, so you're going to have to ignore the long and ugly link. I can't see where Blogger will let me embed via commenting on my phone.

So it is, in fact, subsidized housing - welfare. You pay part, my tax dollars pay part. And I'm 100% okay with this. What I want to know is why you can accept this, and feel like it is okay, but feel other forms of welfare are morally wrong?

    1. Ignoring me, Tony? I would like you to address my question.

      Delete
    2. because its NOT cash. and since its not cash, it dont really feel to me like its real money. and since im not given the housing for free, but am still charged rent. i had no idea the $200 a month they collect from the tenants wouldnt have covered all the employee expenses, maintenance etc. they must be wasting money somewhere or overpaying people. i would think that would be plenty. its a good deal for me, because ALL UTILITIES are included. gas and electric that is. also why u think u deserve a reply faster than all the other people waiting all day on replies?

      Delete
    3. Being disabled i probably do deserve food stamps and medical assistance that an able bodied person wouldnt get. But trying to get it is a pain in the butt because id keep having to stop getting it anytime i get over $2000, so its a hell of a pain in the ass, and i felt 100x better when i could say i made enough on my own to where i didnt need the govts help. and the only way i see i can ever get to that point is to get in a lot of hours at poker at higher limits than im playing online now. its embarrassing to feel like i cant make enough from poker on my own, and i always used to years ago before u ever knew me. Back when i never got ssi or welfare, back before 2007. had i not wasted so much money playing games other than poker, id still have the roll i had in reno which was plenty to play with. hard to see why people cant see that.

      Delete
    4. The only point I was making.. Is that you really have no issue accepting welfare, not morally anyway. You just don't like to do the work. So answer me this: why won't you now see about food stamps and housing assistance? Several of us have been begging you for ages.. And you always have an excuse. Now that you're pretty much at rock bottom, won't you consider it?

      Delete
    5. because u cant be doing this in 2 states at once, only in 1 state, and since im leaving for KS very soon, pointless to do it in NV, it would look funny to the govt.

      Delete
    6. i bet if u give tony some money . he wont ignor u. LMAO.

      Delete
  6. Just my two cents. Might be a good idea to go to KS as soon as you can. Getting a job is not as easy as some people think it is and you don't have a lot of work history. If you get diagnosed in KS it may make it easier for Op Village to help you. Get your SSI worked out first. Give KOD some time. Your email coulda went to his spam file and he didn't see it or he may be busy at the moment.

  7. Wow. I'm going to hold back opinions on Bovada. Maybe you can do it, Tony! Just level your expectations on there... The thing is, I don't see any hand histories or talking about hands that you've played. That site is certainly ideal for you because you can't use a HUD - so all decisions and histories that you provide are in isolation. In other words, when you give hand histories, you should provide an opinion as to "this guy was LAG," or "this guy hasn't played a hand since my sockroll was up to $10k." Otherwise, you should be able to copy / paste the HH directly from Bodog.

  8. We will have:

    Hold'em (NL and FL)
    Omaha Hi (PL)
    Omaha 8 (FL)
    7-Card Stud (FL)
    7-Card Stud 8 (FL)

There was some version confusion as the originally prepared press release did not include Omaha 8 or either of the 7-Card Studs. I asked that those games be added on Sunday and Seth updated the press release that went out to the media yesterday but the one quoted in this thread was written prior to Sunday evening.

    Hope that clarifies.

  9. There is a 1st deposit bonus but only if you ask live support for code. You download the new client and click cashier and click the promo code box and a pop up comes and they will give you code.

Its 50% of your deposit with max bonus of $200. So $400 deposit to get $200 bonus, then each 100 points you earn you get $10 bonus credit. $50 contributed rake gets you 100 points.

    1. that dont really matter over the long run. what does matter in the long run is the percentage gained daily in the size of the bankroll. which means had i deposited $200 on Bovada, id have $1320 there now instead of $132. as long as that holds up im doing good.

    2. This 10x extrapolation makes no sense. You could only argue that if you play 10 times larger stakes and pots are 10x larger.

      Delete
    3. Brent, of course i wouldve played 10x the stakes and not bothered with such low stakes games, and thats why i said it. (was thinking the readers wouldve been smart enough to figure that out on their own). and yeah the pots wouldve been a lot bigger too. my whole life ive played small due to low stakes.

my big problem was when i had 10-15k i made the err of not playing bigger. i shouldve played $2-5 $500 buyin instead of $1-2 $100 buyin. (or at least played $1-3 $300 buyin). this was a huge mistake, and to gamble higher, i played BJ and video poker, and thats why the money went down so rapidly. the ONLY reason i had losses lately at poker was no money to play. and i still think my $40 NL commerce results shows i can still do good at poker.

  14. anyway Vince i went to the Hardrock, picked up $10 in free play, (split the $12 proceeds $6 each) and then went to Palace station and picked up my $178 withdrawal on UP that got approved in about 5 hours. and my new roll on Bovada is $132. we were quite disappointed when the NEW $10 free play didnt show up right after midnite when the employees had sworn it would, that didnt. probably not til like 2-3 am. But i asked specifically the last time i was in and they said it would right after midnite. we kept checking for about 15 minutes then Vince left.

so everything that needed done in vegas first is done, so i can leave anytime.
