Blackhawk CO

well, to avoid having too much cash on hand (and blowing it at the tables or in the machines) ive deposited $1000-1200 in the atm 4 times now in the past week. and ive got a better idea now of a good city to go to and get cheap hotel rooms from gambling. more than 1 casino and more than likely tables going 24 hours where im not banned anywhere.

and this morning i am at work. yes im sitting at the laundrymat washing my own laundry. nothing else to do at this time of day (ive been awake since 1am and the game at the peppermill last nite broke up extremely early). before 2 am and i even sat in the $3-5 for about 30 minutes til it broke too. made a little over $100 in it. also yesterday i as always lost in the $1-2 pot limit mix game at the atlantis and theyve added more games to the mix for 23 games total.

but me and the poker manager did crack the BBJ there yesterday in the $1-2 while i waited. he got $500 i got $250 and the rest of the table got like $35 each. had they not just changed it to $1000 from $10,000 id got much more.

was disappointed to only make it to 18th in the freeroll sunday but at least i got paid something.

am pleased to see how well stealthmunk is doing in the wsop main event. 10th place out of 27 remaining and they will play down to the final table tonight.

Played a bit of table BJ at the Peppermill and at one point was down $400, then up $200. i still left up but only due to winning over $300 on big split, not from table BJ.

ive been told rooms can often be got very cheap in blackhawk CO. the isles website on poker atlas claims $29 sun-thurs. my only worries are weekends. that might eat up any profit. also the gates is offering $5 per hour cashback up to 40 hours a week. then theres another 2 casinos outside CO springs offering good deals on rooms too, including some free ones. thanks to Herbie for causing me to investigate this. would like his advice about weekends staying awake 48 hours isnt an option. im guessing bus into denver (shuttle).

because of this, i think CO works out better than NH. plus it $123 on amtrak is all, or $309 if u take a sleeping car which is nicer. i am so damn sick of going into the peppermill and finding no game in the middle of the night. and also of playing shorthanded.

lets pray i make it out of the laundry room alive. only me and some weird homeless guy not washing any clothes, just trying to sleep. might be drunk. not a soul around, nor an employee. im worried because i have a laptop on me, plus $400 in my pocket nothing smaller than $100 bills. its the laptop that might suggest id be worth robbing.

  1. actually there is one other guy in the laundrymat and that could be why the homeless guy hasnt tried anything. odd how hes sitting on the floor under the table with a huge backpack so he cannot be seen. it must weigh at least 50 pounds. but the young mexican guy doing his laundry i am positive will be finished far sooner than me.

which is why i brought my laptop home for peace of mind, and im at home for a short time. clothes should be done drying in about 45 minutes from now and ill be back to pick them up. i feel safer leaving them alone with him around than my person, for who will steal old clothes especially when wet? maybe i should go back to the peppermill too and get about $30-40 in small bills just in case? not the 4 $100s i carrying. maybe he just wants to sit and sleep or relax, but i feel very uncomfortable if we were alone in there and he starts asking for money and i have nothing to give him. i wouldnt feel this way if i wasnt afraid of people wanting to do me harm.

i know i have to return with my suitcase soon. (and without the laptop)

  2. im always feeling uncomfortable by homeless people. especially if they are MALE or LESBIANS (women who can harm someone seriously bad--same as male). why when i was homeless for so long and didnt like it when others were afraid of me? well its different because im not violent and others are. i dont touch drugs, or alcohol and most all of them wouldnt turn those things down if offered to them FREE on the street, id be surprised if 5% turned it down. test it and see. and im afraid of the girls too if they hang out with guys who look like street trash and punks who know how to fight. im scared of people who look like they know how to fight.

tonight, while at the Nugget in sparks for a while before i came back to the Peppermill about 5am, a girl asked for $1. i asked her if she knew any hookers but she didnt. i dont understand why they dont approach me and the bums do. id much rather have a girlfriend, but she couldve offered to at least be my GF if she wasnt a hooker. someone to hug me and kiss me and hang out with WITHOUT having to go to my room or let them find out where i live.

Can you please expound on your "LESBIAN" theory? Is it that being attracted to women gives them man-like powers, or is it that you assume all stocky women are gay?

I'm sure you've given it some thought and you weren't just spewing random capitalized homophobic nonsense.

      Expectantly,

  3. Go get smaller bills. Go fold your laundry. Talk to him (if he is awake), while you fold. "Hey man. What's your situation? Are you a veteran?" Those kinds of questions. Then let him tell you his story. The man is probably in need of some human contact and kindness. When you leave, hand him a $20. And say "thanks for talking to me. I hope your situation gets better" Just be kind

    1. $20 would be way too high especially since he mightve bought drugs. its over with now. (couldnt see this til i got home). i was probably worried over nothing, but i do feel hes hiding from someone. theres cameras all over inside and he made sure he sat out of the view.

  4. "i am so damn sick of going into the peppermill and finding no game in the middle of the night."

So pick up the phone and call them, ask whether there's a game going and whether it's full or short before you go. This is not a difficult problem to solve.

    1. i already know this when i wake up by looking at bravo live. problem is sometimes the game breaks in the 15 minutes im walking over there. thats not the real problem the real problem is there isnt always a game 24 hours a day.

  5. conclusion of the laundrymat story:

i grabbed 2 apples from my fridge while at home, and was in the process of carrying them back to give to the homeless guy. (at least it makes him feel i am a friend). didnt take any money but the remaining $3-5 in quarters in my back pocket. thought i might offer him those too. hopefully hed feel its all i have. left the cash at home.

on the way out i seen my landlord standing outside and spoke of my concerns, and he offered to walk there with me and see. he said theres surely a number inside of the manager to notify in case of issues. i think he looked at it when walking by the office and out the other side door while at the laundry no idea if he called.

anyway i got back and seen there was a new asian guy in there doing laundry so i still wasnt by myself, the landlord left, seeing i wasnt alone. the guy took the apples and said he didnt have any laundry he needed to do when i offered the change for it. just was so weird he wanted to sit in there, under the table (out of view of all the cameras) like he was hiding from someone. he kept looking at something on his phone. ill never know the real story.

i felt 100x better with others in there instead of just me since i didnt know what he might be capable of

  7. Tony,
My wife and I are headed to Vegas on the 24th. There's a really great promotion in one of the casinos there the last week of the month. We'd love to meet up with you to discuss strategy if you're going to be around around.

    1. you're so lame about how you pick and choose which of my posts to come up.

If you're so sensitive about being with hookers all the time, why do you blog about it?

    2. ive only seen 1 hooker in 10 yrs. not like when i was 19 and wasted my whole $2000 to my name on them within a couple weeks

Your Twitter acct just said you lost $2,000.00. How did you lose it, and why did you lose it? Dumping 1/8 of your life roll....I gotta assume it had to be martingaling a machine, right?

Sorry for your loss - plug your leaks, buddy!

  10. Blackhawk has a max bet of $100- if you were not aware. The main game is one two to $100.

    1. With a $7 rake! Beatable for sure (I know firsthand) but your hourly will be less because of rake and you will sometimes be limited to getting $100 instead of much more. I gave you some advice on black hawk before, I don't think it's good for you because weekend rates are expensive, you could bus down to Denver for a cheap hotel but weekend is the best time to play. Its a nice place though and weather is great this time of year. If you go I hope it works out for you.

    2. Actually, Tony may be good at Blackhawk. His upside is limited by the spread but he's limited by losing $100 on any street. Not sure about the hotels, but the games are WAAAYYY beatable there - see my posts from last year when I was living out in Colorado.

Both of my earlier posts contained questions, as noted by the question marks (?). I appreciate you approving my posts, but it can be frustrating when you don't respond to questions.

Hope your Cali trip is fruitful.

    1. lots of times the questions are inappropriate subject matter to discuss here

    2. The first question was related to a topic you brought up in this very post. The second question was in response to your public tweets about having lost 2k.

Why are either of those topics, both of which originated with you in public forums, now inappropriate subject matter?
