the benefits of using poker income phone application

i'm glad i paid the extra to be able to filter my results via poker income phone application. im learning a lot thru it. still up over $7000 in under 3 weeks worth of live poker since coming to Shreveport, but because i didnt stick with it, i still have over $3000 less than i came with. but hey, thats a good monthly win rate and the months still not done. and ive been overly lucky with promotions. some of which count in the hourly win rate (like money won in splash pots) and some which do not, like the value of drawings, etc. such as the $500+ pot ive won at least twice when they do the $100 splash pot every morning at 9am. several people limp all the way around for a $6 straddle, i being last to act shove of course my $120 buyin (just like i did with aa one day which lost) with ace 9 offsuit, get called by 3 limpers (all with weaker hands of course--and i knew their hands were weaker or else theyd have shoved). which brings the pot over $500 with the $100 added.

then i won $750 when i got called for deal or no deal, and who knows what i wouldve got had i been willing to gamble. actually $705 after taxes were removed. then a few days later i won a bose cinemate 15 home theatre system from best buy worth $599, which i had shipped to vinces house who will give me $300 for it. it had to be shipped to me of course, but he will sign for it then pay me once it comes, might be up to 21 days to arrive. thank God for vince, sure saves the hassle of knowing who to sell to, and shipping it to them.

win rate for shreveport alone went up slightly again today to $57 per hour from $55 per hour, with todays win of around $700. this is for 133 hours total, which vook or pokerdogg thinks is quite unusual to still be so high after so many hours. but ive been lucky. today i didnt win any $300 for quads or splash pots, etc, but i did win with a 2 outer on the river with QQ against KK for $500+ when i didnt know i was behind on a flop of JT2 when my Q hit the river. remember the other day i mentioned 2 times i won big pots with 1 outers. plus most of my sessions are always mornings and afternoons instead of nites. this makes winning much easier because those players dont make moves on u like the younger players who play later in the night. my phone records show my best days for winners are fridays and wednesdays. this is from multiple casinos, over 800 logged hours since last october. (right from when i lost the records). records show total wins of $18 hour for all types of poker combined. this includes heavy losses in foxwoods, and PLO various places. shreveport has been helping massively in making this grow, so did phoenix. shows the location of where u play poker is of primary importance, instead of how well u play (like most would think). shows heavy losses in foxwoods, and more normal losses in toledo, delaware park, greektown, etc. shows i did less well at the nugget ac than i thought, but better in borgata than i thought, but insignificant sample size. best by far in NJ was harrahs (highest hourly) then the trop. by the way when i return to NJ, the taj room will be reopened. must first send my documents to stars. shows i dont do well in PLO high, no records for plo hilow. couldnt find it live. shows i did do okay for $43 hour in 2 sessions of $5-10 or $10-20 limit hilow. very short session.

mainly, what it shows is that its worth paying extra to use the filter. it would be worth paying $2.99 too for bejeweled not to be showing ads ever again but the principle of the thing keeps me from buying this.

so on the way home tonight in a cab stopped in the store, which is doing monopoly pieces. bought $30 worth of groceries. i thought only mc donalds had monopoly promotions. i need to find out what hours the vision center is open in walmart for eye exams. i seriously wonder if infection in the head (bumps on head often come and go) is causing rapid deterioration in eyesight, if its a cataract like grandma got when old, or if an infected tooth is causing it. plus theres a difference place advertising free exams if u buy 2 sets of glasses for $69 once examined. for the first time in my life i bought bottled water in large quantities in the grocery store. ive been doing this all the time lately in the casino due to worries over my health, but never in the store. this is why i too paid $9 for the best bottle of medicated shampoo.

  1. It is a shame that no one has ever suggested to you that you see a doctor.

You are making absurd tweets about your monthly earning potential, yet admit that your recent success has included several instances of lucking out with one or two outers. That concept of variance seems to escape you despite years of degenerate gambling

Oh -- and I vote for GIVING Vince the theater system if he plans on keeping it for himself. It would be a good gesture on your part for a guy who has helped you so much over the past few years.

    1. when someone is about $20,000 short of what they need for medical care, they need every $300 they can get. remember i was offered $350, so it would be like giving up $350. its not like i had no way to get anything out of it.

      Delete
    2. That is true, Tony. But it is also true that the system was a literal GIFT FROM THE GAMBLING GODS. You paid NOTHING for it. That $350 is so precious to you, yet you are willing to torch off THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on your bj/vbj/vp monkey.

Why don't you just admit that your true God is M-O-N-E-Y. You live for it. You worship it. You suffer for it. You put it above everything else in life -- family, friends, honor. It is a false god, don't you think?

In other matters, where will you be off to next? I am guessing Gehenna. At least your years in the Las Vegas sun should have prepared you to some degree.

That is not true, everything a casino gives out, comes from money contributed from their customers past, present, or future. From a professional gambler's perspective, every comp, bonus, "free" draws, cash back, comes from money paid by the gambler. Sure not all promos are equitable and there are +ev situations that a gambler can exploit, but by definition, this is his job. At this particular casino, didn't Tony already lost thousands of dollars in pit games and machines?

    4. Hi Pokerdogg: I understand your perspective. It is fair. However,a person can justify almost anything he wants, as evidenced by this blog. Other factors that a regular person might consider include: 1) Vince has always been a fall back position for Tony, be it housing, transportation, etc. 2) Tony uses Vince's place as an address when he needs one and also stores clothes and who knows what at Vince's place. It would certainly be fair for Vince to charge Tony for some of these things, but as far as I know, he has been very generous with Mr. Bigcharles.

Essentially, the sad part is that Tony will only spend money on gambling and things that enable his gambling. Having been one of his friends with whom he played his magical comps game in the past (offers to use comps for food, then wants you to give him half the value), I worked at having him recognize that perhaps there is some value to friendship other than what someone else can do for him. He has gotten better at it, but I believe in having high expectations for him.

    5. I understand what you want to do, I believe Tony can improve his life and as a person also, and I hold him to higher standards than he feel he should be as well. However, it just seems too many people are giving him a hard time on this Boss system thing. He is already selling it to Vince for $50 less than he had been offered by someone else. I think that is pretty good of him given his circumstances.

You know Tony probably just as well if not better than most. You know that as soon as you begin your argument with something that Tony believe (correctly in this case) to be untrue, he is not going to get past that and hear the rest of your message. You are one of the good guys, just hate to see you be part of the pile on even though your intention is good and differ from the trolls.

  2. I agree with Lightning Tony, just let Vince have it, that's what a friend would do. $300 just isn't a big deal in the grand scheme.

  3. Tony is you are going to go to the vision center at Walmarts please make sure you see an Ophthalmologist and not just an Optometrist.

Also were you able to find any casinos with USB routers for you to use where you are? I am interested since I have never found a single casino that has them for players to use anywhere in the world.

I also lose alot in the pits tony, starting to realize the long hours of poker are the only way to stay alive. people don't seem to covet money as much in certain places. Saw a guy call all in for his stack 250 with 23 off at one of the west florida dog tracks.

  7. Give Vince the audio system! It's the same situation as when you won the jacket at MD Live and I wanted to take it to give to one of the dealers who wanted one. You would only sell it to me for $50, so I wound up getting another one from a FRIEND who GAVE it to me FREE - you had no need or want for the jacket and between the two of us, it was valueless. It only held value for the dealer who wanted it... Stop being a poor friend to those who have given constantly to you over the past years, Tony!

Second, you finally give evidence to why you're doing so well at the tables:
"when i didnt know i was behind on a flop of JT2 when my Q hit the river. remember the other day i mentioned 2 times i won big pots with 1 outers."

So let's recap, shall we? You hit a 2 outter with 2 cards to go - that's around 8% equity, and a 1 outter with 2 cards to go (twice), so that's around 4% combined equity... Your suckout skills are in full force right now, and you're running WAY OVER EXPECTATION. Of course you're going to show a very profitable $$$ / hour!

    4. Tony you miss the point. You did not care about the jacket nor want the jacket - I was trying to do something nice for a dealer there who did want and need the jacket by giving it to him. You were insistent that I pay you for the jacket. What you were doing was not being a good friend.

Look Tony, I drive you around when it's convenient to me - when you're here on the east coast. I don't charge you gas. I don't ask you for cab fare. I just do it - because that's what friends do! You do not reciprocate that friendship. You instead act like an a$$. You're doing the same to Vince by charging him for something you don't care about - the stereo. Vince has been far better to you than I ever care to be; you should give him the stereo free of charge.

    5. So if Tony won a yacht and had no need for it, he should give it to you for free if you like to fish?

Maybe Tony doesn't give away jackets and shit for free because he doesn't want to have to remember all the little things people owe him in order to be able to pester them about it years later in order to guilt them out of something they rightfully won.

Don't let people fool you, most people giving advice here escape life through gambling/playing games just like you.

    1. this is why i wish to hit 1000 hours quickly as possible. i have no idea what it will drop to but hopefully not below $25 for $25k total. 2000 hours is possible for the yr so this would be $50k plus which is liveable on. ignore what i once said about people earning over $50k per year. was actually referring to those with assets, wealth, who could afford to give some of it up, not those who need every dime to survive and might temporally be earning a decent income. even if i earned 80k i wouldnt be nearly as well off as many only getting $45k who have access to cars, credit, stocks, etc.

    3. I think we had a similar conversation before, when you had a good run on your road trip somewhere. My answer then, same as now, you will never find out what you win rate would be at 2000 hours because you can't stay put that long in one place. You either run after a bad streak, or you get banned.

If we speak hypothetically, I don't think you can win at $25+/hour in a 1/2 game. You just seem to have too many leaks. But maybe the game is just that good, I have never played there.

      Delete
    4. its a $1-3 game. and contrary to popular opinion theres more action than in the $1-2. most cities, vegas especially far less action due to it attracting tight nitty pros and because the small blind must be constantly folded due to only being 1 3rd in instead of 1/2 or 2/3rds in as in phoenix.

      Delete
    5. Tony, I think there is a reason your winrate seems to be higher when you first get somewhere and then later you can't stand the games anymore. The regulars catch on to your exploitable strategy. Partly because you flash waay too many hands!

In Delaware I saw you 3bet huge against a nitty EP raise and maybe 4 callers, then show 52o when you got shipped on by original raiser who had AKo. Two questions: 1. Do you think that 3betting with 52o is part of an unexploitable strategy or do you think that showing everyone that you are regularly capable of that gives them a valuable piece of information? 2. Do you think this nit regularly 4bet ships AKo from EP for $500 in a 1-2 game or do you think he did it partly because it was you?

    1. well i thought of doing this, but now im told going to one of these places which check ur vision wont be any good, since theyre optometrists and i need a specialist called an ophthamologist. who can explain why i need this type of dr. and unlike what iron mike says, i wont learn this from google. google dont know why this one guy said not to use the optometrist.

      Delete
    2. That's ridiculous. Go see an optometrist. If there is anything wrong that requires an opthamologist, you will get a referral from the optometrist.

      Delete
    3. Tony...... You said "i seriously wonder if infection in the head (bumps on head often come and go) is causing rapid deterioration in eyesight, if its a cataract like grandma got when old, or if an infected tooth is causing it." An ophthalmologist is a true medical doctor (MD) who then specializes in eyes. They understand and are trained on the whole human body and understand the impact on various conditions and ailments on the eyes. If you want your eyes checked because you need glasses go to a optometrist. If you are worried about the shit you typed above bumps on your head having an impact on your vision or an infected tooth impacting your vision an optometrist is not going to be enough and will miss diagnose or will simply give you glasses and refer you to a true MD and then you will subsequently go on tilt and murder anyone who makes over 50K and or anymore who works for standard optical.

      MIV (AKA this one guy)

      Delete
    4. MIV I think you are confusing Optometrists with Opticians. Optometrists are fully capable of diagnosing eye problems, and will refer to appropriate additional professionals if necessary. Optometrists can even prescribe medications nowadays.

      Delete
    5. D oh Double G. This is a good discussion and I hope Tony is paying attention. This is just my understanding but, while I agree that an Optometrists can diagnoses most eye specific problems and can prescribe some medications it still should not be confused with an Ophthalmologist. An Ophthalmologist is the only one of the three that is a medical doctor (MD) and is qualified to diagnose body issues that could be impacting the whole including eyes. Optometrists like to say they are doctors which should not be confused with a Medical Doctor (AKA MD).

      MIV

      Delete
    6. There, now we are getting somewhere. Let's not forget Tony has some major teeth problems as well, which an opthamologist isn't trained for either. What if his teeth problems are affecting his vision in addition to the bumps on his head? He needs a specialist that is trained to diagnose and treat all parts of the body equally well.

      Tony needs a veterinarian!

      Delete
    7. Okay so I think you were joking, but Tony going to a veterinarian might not be such a bad idea. Vets are clearly trained for Sarcoptic Mange and or Demodectic Mange including Infection which Tony very well could suffer from when discussing his scalp skin and bumps on his body. No no no....... we cant be serious........ can we?

  13. Healthy people that aren't regularly slapped upside the head do not ever get bumps and lumps on said head without serious medical problems. I hope you are regularly informing your Mother of your location and your wallet lists get name and phone number so they easily/quickly contact her to pick up your body for a funeral/burial/cremation

For the month of March my hourly was 78 playing 1-3 game selection and time of the day you choose to play is important and how long you stay in the game when it goes bad. But the key to beating the morning shift that you are playing is really to just wait for tilt. Players go on tilt at a high rate in the morning game and spaz out.
