how splash pots effect the outcome

has anyone of u ever opened a bitcoin wallet that is NOT coinbase or circle financing? ive been told its not a good idea to withdraw from gaming sites to them, but to first have a wallet, withdraw to it, then to those sites to ship it on to your bank. i dont know which to open or where. recommendations of good wallets?

instead, my bitcoin is sitting in bitzino, but i dont wish to blow it all on BJ either. theres over $150 sitting in there, with $177 more enroute.

the last 2 days been good at poker. a $659 win, and a $1081 win. this did wonders for my hourly, which dropped to $34.98 per hour (which i referred to as $34) now its back to $38.60 per hour which im calling $38. i've still got $700 on bovada too. glad i canceled the $400 withdraw after the 12 day wait with no luck.

still need to see a doctor, especially since im now feeling like i need to use the bathroom like every 20 minutes, for a microscopic amount. seems to be common once over 45, but its often caused from getting diabetes. hopefully its from drinking so much water.

i think Grump would be well aware on how u need to change the way u play during the splash pot. most of them were reduced to $100 from $300. but trips on the board still brings a $300 splash pot on the next hand. i'm in my favorite seat, (seat 2, right next to the chargers, by the wall where i can lean back without no one seeing my cards or behind me) and the loose asian regular who likes to shove in seat 1.

several limp preflop, and im in the cutoff, button is on seat 3. i pay close attention (swore he didnt see his hole cards) and he shoves about $80 allin. i come allin over the top for $25-60 more with the ace-ten offsuit. i would prefer it be HU. now in the mornings, a lot of older men dont adjust properly to the splash pot, either by folding too much, or not shoving. this is why 2 guys in particular shove blind, which of course isnt good either. 2 got in behind me with about the same amount of chips. lucky for me the board comes Q6789 and i won the pot, which put me at $715 in front of me. the shover had 9-5 offsuit so he didnt look.

so close to an hour later theres $100 splash pot this time. seat 4 is the button, and after many limpers sure enough seat 1 shoves. i didnt see him look, so i try to get it heads up by making it $428 (covering everyone) with QK offsuit. ive still got over $400 more behind, and i really dont want callers. lucky for me everyone got out but seat 1. flop comes K53, then 46 for another 4 card straight. he shoved before me so i waited for him to show, (i didnt want the whole table seeing how weak my hand was for $428 betting). he shows KA, which surprised me so i folded face down, convincing most of the table i had QQ instead of KQ. maybe he looked or maybe he got lucky. shortly thereafter i went to eat. at least he didnt start with more than around $100.

the holiday inn is a really nice and cheap room option on weekends. in the week, im still getting lots of comp rooms, mostly next door. room here good til tues morning.

nice to have clean laundry again for a month. $45 covered pickup, delivery and all the work.

  1. You don't have a job, so you have tons of time. You also have money.....however you won't go see a doctor or a dentist. You're a gambling degenerate of epic proportions. Poker is more important to you than your health. Therefor, gambling will kill you. How dumb can you be?

    1. Tony,
Why in the world do you approve comments from tard muffins from blurred?
No one cares what these trolls think!
You're groovin along, and the roll just keeps getting bigger, so focus on that.
My advice: find a place with some good vbj machines and get back into that. Or just keep grinding.
Seriously, though. Stop approving comments from idiots. Koala is the only person you should be listening to other than me.

    2. Yeah we get it! Thanks for reverse trolling.

    3. Most trolls tend to hang out in groups. Benny is a special kind of troll known as the 'ĺone troll'.

    4. Tony should not be encouraged to play MORE video BJ. He looses more money. His positives mostly come from poker.

    5. As a slight expert on the subject of Benny, I think you all need to get some clarification on the difference between "trolling" and sarcasm. You all take this way too seriously for a blog that has included entries such as "the mystery of where my spoons go" and "who ate my chicken while I was taking a poo".

    6. @nolamagpie so you find trolling a severely mentally ill persons writings a perfectly normal past time?

    7. @Kevin G did you eat a lot of lead paint growing up? Were you perhaps dropped on your head or held under water for an extended period of time? Sorry to jump to conclusions but my post was pretty clear. If you need further explanation, diagrams, or general education, let me tell you about a fancy new invention called google. Type in "sarcasm versus trolling" (or "why do I have to wear a helmet on dates" or "when will i be allowed to rose the big bus") and enjoy learning something that is painfully obvious to those of us with IQs above double digits.

    9. Welcome to the world of Kevin G. You are now an official TBC follower. Of course, Inner Circle status may be yours if you continue to follow, u see.

Kevin G -- I was looking for you at the Mirage when I was in Las Vegas. Shame we couldn't meet. My friend from Metro wanted to meet you, too. He is familiar with your record of police hating and unlawful drug activity. In fact, lots of guys from Metro know exactly who you are. Just some friendly advice -- they will not treat you with the kid gloves that the Colorado cops did.

    10. Cool story. Should have hollared at me when you were here. I would have definitely introduced myself. I smoke massive amounts of marijuana, only "drug" I use. I'm an american citizen, hating cops and voicing it over any medium I choose is constitutionally protected.
Now in terms of specifics of my crimes and the CO police, please air that out now. Maybe you ought to check with your lawyer buddy Pete about writing false and slanderous statements about people. Feel free to email me also.
It's great you wrote what you did, because now I get to make you deal with writing somethingof this nature. Talk to you soon, "lightning".

    11. @Nola so you think Tony is cool with the sarcasm and trolling?

      Delete
    12. Sarcasm and trolling are not mutually exclusive. Neither comes from a place of compassion, doubly so when the trolling is disguised behind a thin veil of sarcasm towards someone with TBC's challenges.

  3. New room in Portland you might be interested in. Lots of weekly rentals close by and on the light rail line. They had 3 1/2 and 1 2/5 games going as well as a tourney going when I was their about 4pm. Probably close to 200 players in the room. $10 per hour to play, no rake. No tipping during play, you have the option to tip at dealer change. I was told they usually have games going from noon to midnight. http://www.portlandmeadows.com/poker

  4. With Memorial Day weekend coming up Saturday and Sunday rates might be higher than normal Tony. You should square away your weekend accomodations sooner rather than later with this holiday weekend only 5 days away right now.

  5. Tony:

I'm just curious - why did you make it $428 over seat 1's bet? You don't ever say what seat 1's bet was, but I assume it was short $214? What was it he bet?

    1. p.s. - why do you frequently NOT respond when people ask you direct questions in your blog replies? It's not like you don't have some extra time on your hands.

    2. because when approving comments im on the live $1-3 game in the poker room, going thru emails asking do i wish to publish this or delete, and im clicking publish, then i delete the emails like i do ALL emails after reading. now by the time i get to my room hours later, ive totally forgot about the comment.

    3. and other times, the question is argumentative or rude. WTF difference does it make it its $428, $400 or $445? maybe $28 was the oddball amount on top of the stack and betting it evened off the pile.

      Delete
    4. good info on the rudeness of questions being weighed against possible responses!

    5. Tony:

Your response indicates you felt my question was either rude or argumentative. What part of my question did you find to fall under either of those two headings?

      Tony:

"I'm just curious - why did you make it $428 over seat 1's bet? You don't ever say what seat 1's bet was, but I assume it was short $214? What was it he bet?"

Now, your response was certainly rude. To answer your question, I asked because in a previous blog you had talked about shoving a large amount of money in as a bluff, and myself and some others (poker meister, I believe?) chimed in that you don't seem to be considering the appropriate size of your bet to create the outcome you want. I was asking about the bet size relative to the initial bet to determine if you had applied new knowledge to your game. I imagine you can see "WTF" difference it would make if the initial bet size was $75 and you bet $428 to isolate, as opposed to the initial bet being $214 and you min raised to isolate. One of those options would be a better play than the other. Does that make sense?

  6. Tony, Benny's wife here. I don't usually chime in on here, but this is serious. The symptoms you posted about could be a sign of something major from a UTI/bladder infection, to prostate issues, to cancer. This would never be caused by drinking TOO much water. In fact these symptoms would usually be associated with dehydration. Please, go to a walk in clinic or the ER immediately before you do more damage to your kidneys, bladder, or body in general. Your hourly average drops very quickly to zero in the hospital or in the ground.

  9. Let's go over the stats. You arrived in Shreveport with a sock roll of $18,912.00. Reported earnings at poker of $14,840 (424hr@$35/hr) Current roll $12,700 for a whopping loss of $21,052 in 58 days. Even figuring 3k of expenses a month that is still 15k down the black hole. How many hours a day you spend at the casino? In that same time frame you are averaging 7.3 hours per day, seven day a week at poker. How many hours do you spend playing other stuff? You need to find something you like to do outside the casino.

    1. Even with the expenses, if you showed more than a modicum of discipline, you should still have about $30k in the sock. Do you realize Tony that $18,000 would have fixed a lot of teeth and scalp issues?

  11. Tony, you have to admit, the woman down south have that southern draw accent (Very Hot). I used to love playing Omaha high low in the nineties on the gulf coast! It is a different way of life down there. Even though it is all Hold 'em now. At least take some pictures before you leave.

  13. Hitting filthy pawn shops after hours, with dirty judges and lawyers and cops. Winner shuffles like the old days. Leaving the next day with all the money and everyone drunk. Ten gallon hats and boots were being thrown in the last pot. They were all out of money.

  14. Don't give up on "True Love" Tony, NEVER. Just keep in mind woman get "Husky" with age, there are still ones with integrity, and strong family values, and morals. They are just harder to find. A Gladiator for "Jesus Christ" always finds his way.
