taking it easy, no commutes, paying for rooms, or live poker $1-3 swings.

Will not be in reno itself for awhile yet, im still out in the Tahoe Biltmore using the 3rd of my 10 free days and of course i could earn comp dollars for more free nites. (but at a slow rate since i almost never get to bet over $1 since the count never is good, and following the 1% rule even when it is.) so im earning far less than $10 a day in comps. good thing i still had close to $200 from the previous trips last summer with the $18,000 roll and much higher max bets. i do miss playing live $1-2 NL in reno, but the motel i used to live in with little apts for rent with big kitchens by the week evidently has closed down, so ill be paying alot more, be less safe, or be a long bus ride out. this i wont like.

went to the grocery store today and spent $30 on food, and a microwave dish. they have a nice microwave 1000 watt, not the 700 ones common in motels, and a fridge. with a tiny bit of freezer space. did not get over to play poker this evening, been tending to sleep those hours of the day. its important to do the VBJ play like 3am to 10am thereabouts when its empty most likely. 1 of the 5 spots is still out of service.

the rolls increased to $6598, because ive now got rid of all but $100 worth of the bitcoin that had been sitting around growing by as much as $20 per day when the price went up so quick. when i get into reno there will be no BJ, ill be dependent totally on poker results. i had several $100-200 small wins on the VBJ and ALL losing sessions were immediately wiped out by sending bitcoin to replace the amounts lost. this will no longer be possible to do, so i might now be able to have losing sessions again instead of only winning ones.

good news is the Bovada is back up to $300 again, which means if all goes well, it will eventually be turned into more bitcoin on down the road.

couldve gone to toledo but with no good VBJ in the area i didnt wish to eventually end up tempted to play $15-25 min live table BJ right after i recover a few thousand of the roll. too risky. definitely wouldve come in handy the free housing and friend with the car. the only good poker is 60 miles out in detroit though and ray wouldnt wish to sit in detroit doing nothing all day or all this driving. right now i shouldnt spend any more money to do no traveling for a very long time.

  1. I used to exclusively play live black jack when visiting casinos but now only play to take a break from playing craps. I hate it when the dealer goes on a run and wins 5-10 hands in a row. It ruins the fun of it.

  2. I suggest you earn some extra money by taking donations/charging a monthly fee to watch you VBJ it up live on periscope and interact with users. I'd be willing to donate $20/mo to watch this.

  3. well i just used the final $100+ i had in bitcoin to wipe out a small VBJ loss (and show another profit.). new roll $6553. now unless i do well enough with my $306 on bovada to eventually get more bitcoin, ill need to start taking losses and drops in the roll. i will not let it go under $6000 without returning to reno early if i must.

  4. The mental gymnastics you go through to convince yourself you're up for the day are astounding.

    1. Exactly. To make it worse, he literally states that if he takes a loss on VBJ and then takes out enough in bitcoin to cover his losses, he had a winning session. WTF!

  5. Tony why do you continue to play BJ? You have played enough BJ to know you cannot beat the game. Some people can beat the game but you are not one of them. GL hope you rebound.

  6. Tony, congrats on the successful bitcoin trade. You picked a good entry point and an even better exit point.

It was only a matter of time during the stabilization in the confidence of bitcoin as a payment system and a store of wealth before some government had to come along to bodyslam it in a pump and dump. This is what China and other sovereign wealth funds are surreptitiously orchestrating with the recent skyrocketting of the bitcoin price. They were threatened by the existence of an alternative to their cartel's monopoly on currency and its potential to mitigate their ability to continue to debase that currency at will at the expense of the vast ignorant population of non-elites.

The price will likely continue to rise temporarily until the momentum inevitably fades. Any sign of longterm bitcoin market integration will be followed by aggressive selling and insidious rumors of its collapse. In the end, the self-fulfilling nature of the hearsay coupled with the exit of China with its stolen profits will push the price of a bitcoin down to chump change commensurate with its numerous competitors.

    1. This is the price we pay living in a world based on Greed and Power hungry thieves. With Millions of hypocrite fence riders! All of which read the bible and then claim they know Jesus... In reality they know of him is all. Then they go about their daily routine of playing a role to impress a person for the wrong reasons. This leads to a shallow person who can't even identify the more important things in life like "God". It is so easy to have a good job based on your appearance and throw kibble n bits to the poor and act righteous. What a joke, hard not to laugh even typing this.

    2. The most accurate thing in your statement is that you put the word god in quotes....

Why are you throwing dog food at poor people? Do you really think that if you were better looking you'd have a good job? I have a great job but I'm no super model and I prefer to give things to those in need that they can really use such as human food, personal hygiene supplies, and a chance to get on their feet while supporting them emotionally.

I believe the truly shallow person is someone who thinks themselves to be righteous and good while pretending to be other people on the internet and looking down their nose at anyone that doesn't share their exact world view. Judge not least ye be judged my friend.

    3. Ignoring Doe, Tony should be shorting Bitcoin?

    4. You can't even make an appointment at the doctor or dentist. There's no way you could short anything, ever.

  7. rolls now $6791, but im 100% totally out of bitcoin, including the bitcoin stored in bitzino instead of coinbase which i took out also. a lot of the bitcoin was received at the $400-500 mark and sold at the $500-700 mark. today it increased about $80. not mine, i didnt have anywhere near a coins worth left. i gave back close to $75 today at my final VBJ session since i can no longer wipe out losses with bitcoin.

dont really want to take my $335 out of bovada to get more bitcoin, it needs to get higher first. (the roll online, not the bitcoin)

    1. i wouldve rather seen the roll increase somewhat since coming to NV due to winnings not from selling assets. oh well.

    2. Very good thing you are properly diversified. Otherwise, ur continued gambling would have cost you to lose money. And, yes, in case ur wondering, this is sarcasm.
