the moderator on 2+2 censored my post just now

but first, some good news. im now back to the $11,200+ i left reno with a week ago. in a way im better off, since i have $168 on bovada i didnt have when i first came here.

i still wish there was a quick way from here to vegas on amtrak. planes cost too much if not prepaid, and buses more inconvenient. but to take the train to denver, this does take over 24 hours, and to take it to los angeles, so much of the trip u are put onto the bus instead of the train, which is inconvenient.

theres some things i need to go buy if i hang around this area til i run out of free nights, (which would be on the 14th). at least by then hotels in reno will be down to normal. actually they will be back to normal on the 8th. number 1 on the list is dishsoap which im not out of, and i constantly need it for cooking in the microwave. the pictures i showed u in the previous blog is of their nicest suite. still, being an old hotel, no air conditioning. poor wifi lot of the time. but i blame the trees and mountains on blocking this. the small instead of large size fridge too, the frozen portion of it only holds 4-5 ice cream sandwiches. i like BIG freezers, to load them up with burritos, frozen meals, pot pies, etc.

guess ill need to go to safeway instead of Raleys. raleys dont seem to sell the chicken dumplings in the can i like to buy from walmarts. hopefully they will cost less too. food here much higher priced. i even need to do laundry again too, and the laundrymat is by raleys. safeway is not in incline village its the opposite direction other city bus into california. im one block from the state line.

i should hang around, ill have over 100 tickets again for saturdays $700 drawing. problem is they only will pull 1 name til someone wins, instead of multiple drawings where id be guaranteed to hit at least once.

and no ones told me of a way to beat the new craps machine in the other casino across the street. it will, on the right day return $3 comps for every $500 bet. normally would be $1. only double odds, and u cannot bet both sides.

so im learning how to put water into the evaporator so it wont just work as a fan. but its hard to know how much. worry ill overfill it. so i keep underfilling it.

i found out some horrible news this morning thru the atlantic city 2+2 thread. it said because of the strike, the company has no way to be profitable, (its losing millions per month now). so they plan to close after labor day. im upset, because im sure ill be there in the future someday, and i depended on them for 4 of my 7 nights per week. especially since they gave me far more free weekends than trop. not only this, but i was getting about $40-60 free play per week. this will cost me almost $1000 more per month whenever i return now. plus tropicana reduced my free play offers in aug, which is odd because before they went up every time til i returned. ive been told trop quickly cuts off free play if u dont keep giving enough action.

so i posted on 2+2 about how dumb and wrong it is for people to strike (if it will simply cause them to lose their jobs) and why i hate unions and demoncrats so much. the mod must of been a liberal, for he got rid of the post.

the reason bitzino is such a great site for betting on BJ, craps or 3 card poker (too bad they dont offer paigow) is because they use micro bitcoin instead of just the 1000m is 1 btc. so u can bet 1,000,000 microbits of Ub, so u can martingale ur spread 1-1million instead of 1-1000 like on other bitcoin sites. if there is another site letting u bet this small i would like to know. for i only see other sites with the smallest unit being 1 1000th of btc, not 1 1,000,000th. plus u dont need blockchain, u can send directly there from bovada, then into coinbase or circle without it showing up as gambling since i guess they dont know it exists. too small a known site. but the best site out there.

  1. Wi-fi travels only 100-200 feet, not far enough for trees and mountains to interfere.

    1. explain how someone like me would get working wifi (would gladly pay up to $100 per month) if it would work. im afraid this campsite might not have wifi, but $500 monthly dirt cheap and far away from crime too id think. would have a nice place to live for once. but id need wifi to earn a living on bovada.

  2. in other news about finding housing, i put the following ad up on CL looking for an apt for rent in reno. only 3 replied so far in the last 3 days, nothing suitable really. one guy wants to sell his mobile home upfront for cash. the other guy is way out in lovelock starting a home for trauma victims, 100 miles away and he was asking me what the peppermill is. seems odd. the best one was a guy who plays poker but its room in his house, not my own place.

  3. No one is commenting regarding renting properties and this may be due to this blog only being recented posted a few hours earlier. only 129 views so far. but why is it so difficult nowdays? when i was "broke" it wasnt hard. (all over 10-30 yrs ago). i moved to toledo age 19, moved into a rooming house no problem 2-3 times. always with my own room, if not own bathroom. never a roommate situation, except once which didnt work out well. but places u just rent one room, not in someones house, but in a building with hallways. when i was 17-18 i rented from major apt complexes in wichita twice without problems, the rent varied from $160 per month to $210. this was in the late 80s. no one ever asked me for a credit check. do they not expect those from kids? or are places just more strict nowdays? even in 2003, when renting in butte from a place i left town without ever coming back and paying (he waited a few weeks before throwing my things out thinking i might return) i was paying $230 plus utilities and when i moved in i had less than $800 to my name, he took 1 months rent plus $100 deposit.

so why are things so difficult 15-30 yrs later? it is im old so they would find no history weird? or have places cracked down, or maybe i now want nicer places? is there a serious lack of housing making no landlords desperate for tenants--where would i go to find this, which city? or did society change?

sure society is changed in lots of weird ways, 20 yrs ago no one wouldve ever approved of homosexuality. it got voted down consistently. no one wouldve ever found my views bigoted or racist, they were shared by close to 75% of the public

    1. The law of supply and demand Tony. The market for rentals in most of the US has a low supply and high demand. When that happens costs increase as well as the scrutiny applied to applicants.

    2. but wouldnt this been the case in the early 90s too when id just turned 21? whats different now in your opinion?

where is the best city with live poker where theres a glut of housing?

      Delete
    3. i think theres others with more empty housing, but its in TX. possibly FL too. problem with vegas is the action really sucks. no loose play, all grinders. kind of like toledo is.

    4. TX??? You asked for city where there is live poker. Where is the casino in TX?

Of course you asked a question that you have no real interest in the answer unless it fits your preconceived idea of what the right answer is.

    5. Eagle Pass, TX has a casino...Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino. Has a nice poker room totally isolated from the machines.

  4. and there was no such thing as me being unable to get a woman in my life under age 25 either. Sue used to tell me she loved me til i left town for a month and she took up with Keith the black guy. this is when i rode the bus to st louis to gamble. before this, she even ran off from the state group home or hospital to cleveland with me to be homeless with me. one of their local activists used us as guinea pigs to get funding. she told me she loved me for yrs even when living in bowling green and i went there too and her group home convinced her judge not to let her see me. she cried on the phone about it.

then women in toledo wanted to fool around too, even ones i turned down thinking it would be immoral since one girl was christian and had never done this, and i talked her out of it, and then one other i felt guilty over sue. not sure why i didnt feel that way with the married woman whose husband was the fireman. but yeah i seen about 5-10 different women within a few yrs who werent hookers besides the hookers who used to be happy with $20-40.

hell when hitchhiking 16-18 running off from home, not only the women, but even all the old men who picked me up always wanted to give me sex. they would offer money, id refuse, due to fear. u would not believe how many old child molesters exist. more than u would ever guess.

i think the reason i dont have a women is i dont look for one. im too busy concerned with getting money. plus i wont give $ to them no more. i care 100x more about money than i ever did in my young age, when money was replaceable. its no longer replaceable. plus i insist them contact me, for i wont contact them. so only claudia would do this. why she did i dunno

  5. For those of you that struggle with reading TBC's blog and would appreciate it in chronological order with proper grammar and punctuation, head over to http://translatingtbc.blogspot.com/ :)

    1. wouldnt paying actual cash be better? (hate paying $10 dealer tip fee upfront, then busting out before the $$$). the winners should do the tipping, not the losers doing it for them.

      Delete
    2. it doesnt list the details. just says 20 hours is 1 ticket, 100 hours is 6 tix. no more details. u must then win a drawing with the tix to play?

the $500 splash pot every 30 minutes in cleveland much better promotion

    3. 1 ticket = one free entry into one flight. So for 100 hours, you get to try to make it to day 2 six times. Every extra flight you survive day 1, you get $250.

    2. Congratulations Tony for finding the lost city of Atlantis. People have been searching for this place for thousands of years. You always said you wanted to find the island of Atlantis.

    3. No, silly. He's in that city under the sea that he once discussed with britni.

    4. You see, Atlantis was an island that sank beneath the sea. Of course for Tony to find it, it must have floated back to the surface. Anyway I am glad he found it and maybe the poker Gods of Atlantis will smile on him and give him quads every hand, and free accommodation and food for as long as he wants.
