well im going back downhill and going there fast. there goes my $1000 from my hours played.

tonight wasnt a good night. i got paid my $1000 today, or at least the $940 after they took the tax out of it. so earlier today i was briefly in the $15,800s. but i did lose both my poker sessions. since i was already downtown with my laptops and suitcase, i decided when i left sams town to go ahead and take my 2 free nights in the eldorado too instead of going home. i went up there to take a break about 6 pm since i wasnt feeling like playing after giving back the $100+ i was ahead, plus over $140 of the original buyin. but with the promo money id received, i was still up to $15,800 and over $2500 up for the month of october.

so when i woke up at 2am and sat down with $120, i couldnt get nothing. lost, rebought, $160, and eventually was in the game for the entire $580 I had in my pocket. Then when i quit and tried to go get money from the money stored in safekeeping in the casino cage, they couldnt give it to me because i was told the system is down. so instead i went to my room and it better be fixed by the time i go back down.  was told the same thing when i tried to order food in the poker room with comps. maybe had i not been hungry i wouldve had more patience to wait for a hand. it was a good game because Doc was sitting in it. and he usually gives me credit and folds because he doesnt have a thing when he raises preflop and sees me as a nit. But i lost the whole stack when i tried to bluff him off a pot.

Now ive been told, when a guy check raises allin on the river, he usually ISNT bluffing. this true or not true? Lance who plays in this room regularly, told me one big edge i have over most of the locals which is good for me is i try to steal pots. i've noticed if u can win one big pot per night u wouldnt otherwise win, it has such a huge effect on ur hourly rate, more than doubling it. but when u try it against the wrong guy, or when hes sitting on a monster, it wont work and it didnt tonight. on a flop of 2K2, 5 on the turn for a turned flush draw in hearts (i held A5 of hearts) Q of diamonds on the river, i didnt expect the monster he was holding to be 23 offsuit. most people say i should try to bluff more. i dont know if this is true if im stuck for the night and not been winning, seems they wish to call. sure wish i was in a new room every night. i've been told its better to show bluffs so u can get paid off on monsters, but this stops u from winning with future bluffs too, so which is preferable?

and im still needing to return the old laptop before my 15 days expire. i was expecting to be over $16k once i did but with this loss, im down to $15,300 so ill only be a bit under $15,700 if i do. this should feel like a lot but had i not lost both the last 2-3 sessions i couldve been over $16,500 once i got the money plus the laptop returned.

if i didnt return it, the ONLY way i could safely dispose of the stored passwords on the old laptop would be to throw it off the texas street bridge into the Missouri river in the middle of the night. im not as skilled as hillary is in bleaching it.

Speaking of the election, anyone seen this video? Project veritas undercover video they are highly respected for being willing to show u what the media wont tell u, they are the ones who put out the planned parenthood video. hear in their own words DNC operatives they filmed talking about illegal fraud voter activities, fixing it so people get injured in trump rallies, and how theyre spending Hillary clintons money to pay homeless people to do this. the people in charge of this were very high up in the democratic party and report directly to Podesta or Clinton, or George Soros.

watch this video, and u will see it cant possibly be fake like PPP thinks it is.

So the turn was the 5 of hearts, and you also had the 5 of hearts in your hand.

    Ummmm....

    1. i think it was a heart bigger than the 5, because i didnt pick up a pair and i did get the 4th heart on the turn but missed the river. i had the 5 of hearts in my hand.

  2. Assuming your new laptop has Windows 10, you can safely prepare it for returning. Open settings --> update & security -->recovery. Under "Reset this PC," choose "get started." Choose "remove everything," then "remove files and clean the drive." You'll get several warnings and chances to back out, because this is irreversible. But in the end, it restores the PC to original factory condition. Everything you've done since buying it is not just deleted, but overwritten with digital static so that it's unrecoverable.

    1. It is the old laptop that Tony was talking about.

    2. "digital static" is very original!

    3. "Digital static" isn't quite accurate. Wiping programs rewrite the disk space with a series of zeros and ones, it is more like "digital blanket" or "digital monotone" than static. Static would implies random zeros and ones.

  3. Well, it's not entirely clear, but I got the impression that he decided the new one wasn't worth the $400 spent on it, and was planning to return it and just keep using the old one instead.

  4. If the video was faked, why have the two biggest culprits resigned? What O'Keefe is doing is journalism just like 60 Minutes and Dateline N.B.C. does, including editing. He comes from a right wing point of view true, but the mainstream media won't do these investigations. Do you think any of them are upset they were scooped? Of course not, if it seen as hurting President Obama they won't touch it, journalism is now completely partisan.Where is the journalist that would ask as tough a question of President Obama as they would of Dick Cheney? They almost don't exist.

    1. Comparing O'Keefe to 60 minutes and Dateline is like comparing TBC to Daniel Negreanu and Jennifer Harman.

    2. It appears, notwithstanding O'Keefes past problems with erroneous reporting/filmmaking, that these films are indeed accurate and reflect that Clinton/liberal operatives actually incited the Chicago riots and looked to incite violence at other Trump rallys. One of the participants in the film is now shown to have visited the White House 342 times with numerous visits to the President himself.

  5. Try buying in for $300. If you are going to snap rebuy why do you want to play short? Stop being so scared

buying in deep makes u not play ur best. buying in too low hurts u too, buying in $200-300 is best. most do NOT play optimally at all.

Tony, you said this in your last blog a couple of days ago. So why did you buy in for $120 and rebuy for $160?
Stop trying to Martingale yourself out of trouble with idiotic buy ins. YOU KNOW THIS IS COMPLETELY STUPID, YET YOU STILL DO IT. WHY?

    2. Tony, can't u see that you are contradicting yourself? You say one thing and do something different.

PS I did not know you were born in Canada. I thought your mother gave birth to you back in the USA, which is how you got your US citizenship. So there must be records somewhere in Canada. Is it possible for you to have dual citizenship, or is this not allowed in the USA?

Yet, you state above that "buying in #200-300 is best..." and then imply NOT buying in for that amount is "NOT" optimal.

So, why do you continue to play non-optimally?

    4. Tony, if you are a winning player, eventually you will win your money back, whether you martingale your buyins or not.

  9. Tony you spend hours reading and obsessing over things you have no control over. You seek out sites catering to fear mongering, conspiracy theories and promoting hate. It is not healthy for anyone and particularly not healthy for YOU. Surrounding yourself with this everyday promotes feelings of helplessness and rage among other things, it colours your outlook on everything in your likely more than you realize. Worrying over this stuff (like Russia sending nukes)is not only a waste of time but it affects the rest of what you do. Try taking some time off from all the negative crap and seek out some positive things.

  10. Grinding to make your hours to make the freeroll helped keep you from playing games with a big potential downswing. As I suggested earlier you should make a goal that occupies your time so you are less tempted to take those big risks at other games.

    1. the reason for the big loss thurs nite was the deposit of about 3 bitcoins online to play online BJ, and buying in too much since the game was good in the eldorado, when stuck about $500. then when i got it back and $100 up and well over $1000 on the table, i kept on playing til i lost it

      Delete
    2. Well that was no reason for you wanting Grump to be dead. I guess if you stuck to 2 4 like he advised you would not have blown $3000 of your roll on various forms of BJ. But of course, you see, you know better than all of us including Grump who constantly keep telling you to stay away from machines and live BJ. Fucking good thing you know all about optimal buy ins and optimal play, it could have been worse.

    3. Koala, 24 is Grump's signature hand, not 2/4 limit.

  11. Bitcoins online to play blackjack? How is that a good idea? I see you stringing them together by trying to runaway to Vegas or Detroit. Stay put and make it back

  12. Bitcoins for online blackjack is the worst idea ever. Why don't you just try playing blackjack online for fun if you feel the need to get your fix.? If you leave Shreveport I see the roll going below 10k for sure. You are dumb if you run away from Shreveport . That place is a honey hole for sure.

  13. I'm glad that you've seen more success at the tables along with the promo money which helps. With this new money have you set another short term goal of working on your teeth? It has to be done and you can eliminate more stress this way too.

  14. Tony, you have always run away to a different town whenever you suffer a big loss in BJ. With the latest loss being online, where are you going to run to?

    ReplyDelete
  15. This will be different because the loss was online. To flee would logically require that the destination be a place that does not have internet access such that Tony would have to stay offline for the safety of his roll.
