my time will soon be up

I have no idea if i'm a good or a bad PLO high player. but i do know one thing, most of my sessions in the last few months show a much higher win rate in PLO than at NL. mostly from MGM detroit. and $2-5 NL is still much worse than $1-2 or $1-3 NL, which is why i cant ever move up. i think i worry too much about being underrolled if i play $2-5 and it effects my game.

its about 15x higher per hour or more than NL holdem is. of course the sample size isnt that large.

not much else is good to report. im still not even back to $16,000. Mark's mother died today. but he seems to be taking it well since he didnt hardly ever see her. My mother said she had gotten cancer. i did however get the monthly uber pass again finally, giving me unlimited rides up to $25 each for only $6.99 (thats what their site says, but its really $7.20 each). and i got a brand new apple iphone5 for only $79, no they no longer sell them, but they keep them on stock for replacements if theres issues. and they let me have one for the cost of another battery since the tech made an err in trying to install a new battery. $79 u see, is the battery cost, not the phone cost.

and i need to do laundry or buy more clothes, im finally out of clean shirts. and i need to get a suitcase bad, or ill have no way to move out of here and go to reno, los angeles, albuquerque or back to toledo once my time is up.

at least i got my sleep hours fixed. not sure how, but i did. at least for now.

friday night i went to the poker palace in NLV and for a while i wasnt doing too well, but i eventually left with over $250 profit to keep up the exceptionally high hourly in that friday nite only NL game. a guy i knew from Reno called David offered me a ride for less than an Uber, but since i dont feel able to defend myself im too nervous and suspicious when someone tries to get me into their car. especially if a lot of the time they seem to be a troll. same way for another guy i used to play poker with that some of u know as Herbie from RTP. if i knew how to protect myself if something was to go wrong during the ride, i would gladly accept for the lower price offered.

i would write much more, but i need to sleep and the things id really like to talk about i probably better not. ive lost interest in this anyway, i dont get paid for writing like the Trooper does with his vlogs.

    1. well my son is 25, he couldve left home like me, but since hes less smart than me, he lets he have legal custody of him. and of course its not my mom who has cancer, but his mother who died, who he only met once in the last 20 yrs. u were not the only person to misread that paragraph

I know you don't like the sound of your voice, but I do think you'd do well with a blog. You have a unique perspective that people want to hear. And, now you have a new-to-you phone to record with.

    1. Should have read "vlog", as in, "...I do think you'd do well with a vlog."

Any thoughts on the vlog idea? What if I could guarentee you $200.00 per month, minimum, in income from your vlog?

  3. i've played plo high with you at maryland live 2/2 plo as well as borgata 2/5 plo

    You're god awful.

I don't say that to mean mean-it's just being honest. You are truly terrible. You have absolutely no idea what you're doing and you're an underdog in any plo game.

Of course the few times i played with you , you mentioned you were stuck for the night when you came over and you wanted to get unstuck. Of course you don't care if you're +ev or -ev when you're down you just want to get unstuck.

Also a borgata dealer said he couldn't believe you were still alive.said he hadn't seen you in 20 years and that he used to deal to you in some dump casino in vegas and said that back then you would come in with bugs crawling all over you and get kicked out.disgusting!

    1. we never played PLO in maryland live because it never runs. its just 2-2 big o and i usually lose in it. not sure why. it should be the same game.

    2. we played 2/2 plo at maryland live in 2016
back then there were 3-5 tables of 2/2 4 card plo a night and 2-3 of 5/5 4 card plo

      you were awful

      stick to hold em

    3. then why did i win $400 in the wynn last time i played? im sure its due to the fact wynn dont allow the button to straddle in $1-2 PLO, like most places. the loose aggressive players dont know how to adept to this, and they play way too many hands to have solid fundamentals and it benefits the tight players like me who can play their regular game. u were only beating me because MD live lets u button straddle.

    4. bc there is a ton of short term luck involved in any poker game especially plo
you think winning one session means anything? you're terrible at plo and your action is always welcome.

md live doesn't let you button straddle and neither does borgata.

i don't even remember if you won or lost at md live.i don't even care.why would i judge your skill based on your results over a tiny sample like that? that's absurd. the way you played the hands showed you have no clue at plo whatsoever.

you bought in for 200 dollars and there was 25k-30k on the table.i remember getting short handed and going to the 5/5 plo with another player and we both had over 4000 dollar stacks. you think i cared about your 200 dollar nonsense stack?

your short term result oriented thinking is a huge part of the reason that despite playing poker for decades you still can't consistantly beat anything but baby stakes nl.

but congrats on that big 400 dollar win at the wynn. it means you're a great plo player. you should switch over to plo full time.

    5. i dont believe MD live dont let u straddle in PLO, i remember it as being 2-2 big 0 where i lost so much not plo, and this was on the most recent trip, not the first trip, but the second trip, where i got banned for 24 hours, and where they were even being let button stradle 2 and 3 handed and im not used to the blinds being allowed to straddle too and this is why i thought wtf? it was bad enough they did it at a full table. i defeinitely rememeber having to act first. i think u dont remember properly their straddle procedures, unless theyve changed.

  4. also it's amazing how in the same paragraph you can seamlessly transition from someone dying from cancer to buying an uber pass.

  5. He can't be as bad as everyone claims or he'd be broke. I'd love to see a lot of vloggers live like Tony, no other income, no fallback plan, wasting huge amounts on hotels and taxis and airplane tickets...

    1. he spent 20 years homeless.

yes he's good enough to grind out peanuts at 1/2 nl.that's not an accomplishment. that just means

      1)he's trying to win
      2)he's no completely retarded

Yet despite playing poker for 30+ years he's never won at anything but baby stakes games for good reason.

he's not good at poker. he is a complete degenerate. he is fixated on short term results.he has severe tilt issues.

nobody is claiming he is bad by 1/2 nl standards. people in 1/2 nl are terrible. he is better than terrible which is not an accomplishment when this is all he has devoted his life to. i mean he plays poker every single day for 30 years. he should be better than some random drunk stumbling over from the blackjack pit or club to splash around and have a little fun playing 1/2 nl. it would be sadder if he wasn't.

and that's the point. no sane person would live like tony.
they either get better at poker (not gonna happen for tony) and move up to make decent to good money or they realize they can't get by on 10-15 bucks an hour from 1/2 nl and quit poker full time get a real job and play as a hobby for some extra money.

Or the third option- they continue to play 1/2 nl full time, make peanuts and are perpetually broke.
