I havent always made the right decisions since flying out of Fort Lauderdale, but i was avoiding video blackjack at least since i was far away from the ones i was losing money on in florida. of course, most of the money i lost in florida was simply lost on living expenses. i was there over 6-7 weeks, and left with about $1000 less than i came with, and of course i spent well over $7000 to live on while i was there. so overall i didnt lose much of my poker winnings on vbj there. but when $6000 was lost in the final week, i just felt like i was, so i left.
as far as gulfstream was concerned, the only thing i ever got since that other blog was $100 in free play twice for may. one i used, and the other i left town before i could use it since it didnt start til may 16. they removed their vbj machines or at least removed vbj as one of the options u could play on that machine, and even on the remaining video craps and baccarat they ended letting u get 8x points on it during the promotions.
so all my vbj play in florida was at the other casino a mile up the road from gulfstream where they also had good PLO. gulfstream aint offered poker since the virus.
i hear alot of rooms around the country have now ended masks, supposedly for vaccinated people but they arent checking peoples papers. i wonder what casinos do when they see people they know damn well are well enough informed to never take the vaccine, and know the evils Bill gates vaccine will cause a few years down the road, but also are no longer wearing the masks since they cant ask medical questions. i was surprised to see vegas end them before the rest of the country however.
the private membership only $25 a day club here dont require it but the casinos up north still do because they have such an evil governor. she is one of the worst. plexiglass too and u cant even drink water in the poker room so u have to quit the PLO game and go find a person with a cart full of waters and coffees, or grab one upon exiting the casino.
and i got too angry and pissed in that private club to want to go back, and neither did Ray unless they start doing more omaha. i was playing just NL because the others wouldnt start round by round, and took a couple bad beats (while losing my $280 on poker bros on bad beats at the exact same time) it irriated me so much to have to play 4 handed with all them idiots nonstop straddling the button, and i just wanted to wait til more people play or til they start offering omaha everyday.
tonight in the casino i gave back most of my $300 profit in plo and left the table up a little over $100, almost took a big loss playing live BJ, but luckily i didnt and left in about 15 minutes. martingaled a few bets on a $50 minimum table, which can get expensive. only sat because of the great rules offering stand on ALL 17s, which is very rare. it also paid 3-2.
so i made either $70 or $170, because i couldnt remember how much i was in the game for.
now to talk about something else i seen in the PLO, guy next to me is HU in a pot with the other guy on the other end of the table, he is in seat 2 and im in seat 3. board is A234K and the K made a third spade.
other guy checks, and the guy made some kind of wave, but never checked, and then put out a big bet. he said he was trying to see the other guys stack, keep in mind the plexiglass makes it difficult to see.
the dealer rules he checked but he never tapped the floor, and the floor is called, tells me not to speak up since im "not in the hand" but they were doing this guy wrong, a wave isnt a check. only tapping the table is, and the one floor got the other floor and eventually its ruled he checked though he never tapped the table and the floor said other moves with the hand can be a check also. never heard of that and im sure the manager whose friends with Ray wouldnt have ruled that way. so the guy immediately quit and was still complaining at the desk when i quit soon thereafter because i was losing back all the profits.
it would be horrible if someone can force u to check when u never touch the table just because u move your hand around a bit, this could be used to angleshoot anytime someone doesnt want u to bet.
and now to talk about the new story of another business ripping me off and this happened in Holland about 60 miles south of the casino.
Ray and I found a new bitcoin atm in a gas station, and in the previrus days, toledo did not have them, u had to use one in detroit. now i know the juice is too much but remember i cant scan an ID or find someone i can pay to do it because they always give up too when they try to scan mine. and i figured for $200 id not be charged more than $20 juice, but actually got charged about $40 plus in juice when i got home and looked up the price of bitcoin. see the machine was charging $65,000 a bitcoin
the bitcoin never arrived and i emailed them the next day, and they said "the developer would try to speed up the queue" whatever that meant. no record of them sending anything appears on blockchain, because they said its stuck and not yet sent. and over 24 hours later when i emailed them again today, they still have not sent it and the second email they never answered.
at least now ive got their phone and i wont only complain to that company but to the gas station owner who probably has no clue theyre screwing people over and hopefully he will bitch to the guy who installed it enough to make them come to their senses. see it looks bad on him when people complain that a machine inside his business ripped me off of $200 and the vendors dont care.
yes i know u should not buy bitcoin thru an atm, but i was stuck that night, broke online, and just felt like playing something, and could not reach Mr Bug on twitter, who i otherwise buy from.
