Actually a sandbag is a better word than the word balloon upon reflection. Lets say that someones bankroll has been going steadily downhill. and they had over 45k when they took the month and now have 33.9k and before i figured it up actually thought i was a few hundred less. And though i dont think Ray knows, there was at least 4k dropped online since taking the room.
and then the other day i blew over $2100 on the bingo machine at the $7.50 level when the bingo wasnt nearly high enough to make it plus ev, but i was stuck so i played anyway hoping the bingo would hit really quick so i could still be up.
But physicalogically it feels like it dont matter and has no effect on if i make minus ev bets or plus ev bets over the long run as to whether i win or lose so why not just make the minus ev bets if making plus ev bets isnt going to increase my long term odds?
For example tonight there was this one regular young kid in the poker room who usually has a ton of black chips on the table, even when the max buy is only $400. and we all know most people constantly add to their stack when the dealer isnt looking because the house doesnt care about it like they do when people try to put less.
how else could he get all them chips? it sure isnt his play.
like most of the heavy losers he straddles the button or UTG at every opportunity but at least he isnt texting other players to meet him outside of starbucks when he goes broke like some of the other losers are who like to straddle. (i not only saw that text i saw the guy next to me downloading cash app on his phone last week).
But preflop tonights villian put $6 out for the straddle a few of us limped, and i was planning to call what i assumed would be a small raise. but when he makes it $61 UTG i wasnt going to leave myself with almost half my stack in preflop and i wasnt folding 99 so i just reshoved allin and we took the flop HU. he has A5 offsuit (a terrible way to play it) but im sure he considers himself a genius because the flop was ace hi and he got all my chips that were in the pot preflop.
that and another guy busting my Q hi flush on the river with the full house he didnt bet on the turn when the original preflop raiser bet $15 and i called, made me leave stuck $350 and completely on tilt and i talked to Ray on the way home and told him i was enroute home instead of to a machine, but when i got home, threw away about 2k online BJ.
i quit playing all shoe BJ games 6 or 8 deck and any machines. but online BJ sure dont help and the only real BJ ive played has been the 3-2 $15 DD game at station casinos. surprisingly thats the one place i havent lost any money. good rules since if u play 2 spots u only have to go to 25 and 25 instead of 30 and 30 and u can even play 3 spots of 25, which is quite rare. even if other places allow 3 spots unlike Palace station does, the min bet on a $15 table isnt $25 a spot on 3 spots.
also im really concerned about if ill be able to get another ID in Lousiana since i wont have anyone giving me a lease this time to prove an address, and this needs done before August 5th so i can then get into a place longer term. i hate my family so much for having me born in Canada and hate anyone who travels overseas. it ruins peoples lives if they have kids. games wouldnt be nearly as bad in vegas were it not for all the fucking Canadians and the fucking Euros. and all those people look down on Americans because some in America still vote right wing and have Christian worldviews. all British consider themselves morally superior to americans.
