A misdealt hand

 in the earlier dream i was walking with someone past a bridge and was going by a church i thought i might attend the sunday morning service at, and i was mad it wouldnt list the start times for the service and told the person with me that was poor customer service not to say what time it started for those whod never been there before. then i was being carried down a long highway and im going thru a grocery store looking for the bathroom on a scooter thats turned into a bookstore and some lady tells me we will have to charge u for sitting in here and im thinking im not sitting, im moving on this scooter the whole time. then i see some food charges unbelievably low, huge sized bags of chips saying they were damaged in a truck accident and were $1 each and right next to them they had a make your own hot dog offering it free, but then i say a sign saying for cops only. 

and in the other dream im in a place trying to remove thistles from my clothes and there are quite a few im getting on the floor, and some people are saying there were tons of good plays here but all i see falling down from the floor above is a ton of hair and more thistles then someone turned out the lights and it went dark and im holding a cat for protection and im wondering how to get out of there without stepping on any, and i felt someone coming towards me and i start yelling the name of Jesus and i woke up. 

--2 days later--back in Dallas

Well im in my hotel needing to go back to sleep before i go to any grocery stores or poker games and im lying in bed listening to Elvis Presley and doing my laundry. yes i have a washer and dryer in my unit which is like 4 different rooms so i can wash both pairs of pants without needing to keep back one or a pair of pajamas to wear while its being washed. and of course my 30 or more shirts. i ran out of clean clothes the month i spent at the casino in Oklahoma. still had just over 49k when i returned, not too bad and a 5k increase over the month. went up there on Dec 6th. 

those 10 hormel meals i could never eat at the casino since i had no access to a microwave came in very handy when i checked into my hotel too tired to go anywhere and buy food, i ate 5 of them warming them up in the microwave and have 5 left. now this room i only paid for 2 nights, so i might not want to buy food til i know where im going to stay. 

another new poker room opened up in the dallas area, (its on poker atlas if u want to investigate) but it seems like all thats been going so far is 1-2 NL. why is that game so popular? NL holdem isnt even real poker. if u dont believe me, ask Chip Reese. 

now lets talk about the misdealt hand which is the subject of this latest blog. the good news is the casino manager in the pit who i complained to whose over the poker room which currently has no manager, compensated me partially by giving me a $100 free bet voucher but thats really only worth $50 since its promo chips and i was out more money than that from the dealers error and the supervisors much bigger ruling error. i highly doubt most poker supervisors wouldve made that ruling. 

the rule here is if u run it twice when everyone is all in and its before the flop, you cannot do 2 boards like most places let u do. its the turn  and river is all thats done twice. not the flop. 

so not being sure of this rule, and a dealer who wasnt aware of this rule, went to deal 2 boards. i wouldve corrected him immediately had i known the rule. the first board i won. and the second board another player won. the 3rd player who was all in also lost both. i realized the error after the pot was split because of comments from others about how they dont allow 2 boards. so i asked for the floor.

u see i had won the first pot which was done correctly, and seeing I had both a set and the nut flush draw i had a great shot of both pots if they took back the 2nd board like they shouldve done and dealt a new turn and river, which would be the correct way to do it. 

and if they wouldnt be willing to do that, they couldve at least awarded me the first half of the pot for the board i won, and then since they messed up on the 2nd board, split the other half of the pot 3 ways which would give me half of the pot plus 1 third. 

had i not asked for the floor, i wouldve at least got half the pot. but i knew i deserved much more than half.

the supervisor ruled since the dealer made a mistake, to split the pot 3 ways. so i got really fucked. this way the guy who lost both pots even got his money back. and he is a guy who usually wasnt the supervisor but a dealer working as floor who made the bad ruling. 

there was NO mistake on the first board(pot) which i won in full, that gave me at least half, not 1 third (my own money back). 

had the pot been done right i couldve easily ended up with 159x6 or at least 159x4 not 159 total. this is why i complained to the pit manager who often comes into the poker room to oversee poker and why he felt i should receive the extra compensation he got the guy over him to approve which he brought me about 30 minutes later after i talked to him 

i hope most of u, especially those who work in poker, can see why this is the fairest way to handle the situation (take the 2nd board back and run the first turn and river twice with the flop where i flopped the monster). this is the rule in that cardroom. allins where everyone agrees to run it twice are flop then turn river twice. 

will now try to sleep but first i need to move the clothes from the washer to the dryer and for whatever reason unlike a normal washer its more than an hour long just to wash. they can dry while im sleeping. 

Christmas blog, 2025

 today is Christmas. its supposed to be a day to be celebrated, which this evil and woke culture has tried to do away with. For the life of me, i cannot understand why the casino chooses to play the same junk music (at least its not rap) they play every day instead of songs specifically for Christmas. Cant we have at least 1 day to listen to something pleasant? so because im never able to hear using headphones (guess maybe an expensive kind would work instead of the $5 ones gas stations sell) i had to leave the poker room and go play the VBJ to turn my youtube on my phone up full blast and then i couldnt hardly hear the music. but at least i got to listen to Christmas music. many of which had to do with the birth of Jesus. Which is why this woke evil culture bans it. think of every company u do business with such as lyft uber airbnb bank of america, wells fargo, and how they try to promote a woke gay agenda. 

Good news is i won about 140 in poker, was up more but the game was one i couldve easily given it back in and at this time of the morning, usually way too many regulars here every day though its much more action filled than games in Vegas. i dont like the way they take the $1 small blind right down the chute though. And i am up about 1200 for the morning total because i also won on the VBJ this morning

Not nearly enough to cover the 5000 loss from yesterday between pai gow, poker, and VBJ. and im barely around 46k. at one point, i was over 51k.

Ray and Lightning doesnt know this, but i even found an extra $700 in my Venmo id forgotten about. it was when i gave a guy cash for Venmo to deposit in my bank. so when i found it, i sent it to my bank. i knew lightnings $100 was in there and i was just letting it sit, but then i decided to send it to the bank and was shocked to see a balance of $800

so my roll was $700 more than i thought it was for quite some time now. every time id added up the roll, i considered the Venmo to be 100

Ray also doesnt know me being away from Dallas and where the VBJ is still beatable was NOT enough to keep me from playing online VBJ. while in my room the other day, i lost $1700 of my bitcoin too. 

thats a horrible habit and theyres no way to break it. thats why lightning and Bill Potts can see why they kept my account open and cut off all my rebate benefits. (an online site)

i have a ton of tickets for the drawings friday and saturday at 11pm when 1 name is drawn for 10k and 25k. sad thing is i wish theyd draw 50 names for 500 instead. at least then u have a chance. then people would lose it all back in machines instead of take it home and never give it back. doesnt seem smart by the casino. 

my mothers declining health and rapidly disappearing eyesight, which Lightning can verify, is keeping her from redoing and finding all the paperwork i need for citizenship that Vince lost. such as copies of her birth and marriage certificates which prove my citizenship and of course grade school records show i lived in KS in the early 70s. 

so she says she cant help me anymore because shes too old. ill never be able to fly again. 

1 of the night shift employees does NOT care at all about the players in the poker room, or his fellow employees. a day ago he repeated ignored a lady who requested chips for a player which is usually taken care of instantly in this poker room. ignored her and another guy yelling it out for her about 10 times and finally she got another employee to help. and then last night they erased a list with 17 people who wanted to play 2-5 NL and they just let a huge list grow, never try to start it, then eventually claim they all left and erased it. this is why its nothing but 1-2 NL in this room except during busier times such as thurs fri sat. or when tournaments go such as the wsop 

Yeah its sad that i won over 1200 this morning and im still over 5k worse off than i was a couple days ago. 50k wouldve been enough to return to dallas and pay for airbnbs and have enough for PLO. but 46k is still better than the 44k i had when leaving dallas. and im still up pretty good on VBJ for about 175,000 in coin in. 

ive left dallas, and increased the bankroll a little bit closer to 50

if i dont post these dreams now when i first wake up ill just forget about them. and i probably need to find a way to see a doctor because this is getting to be a pain in the ass, waking up once an hour to use the bathroom. it will only continue to get worse. when i drink lots of coffee, i dont need to use the bathroom for an hour or so after i leave the room, but then later on need to about every 30 minutes. in the earliest one, some girl was telling me that she wouldnt fuck me with "Kathleen Weikert's dick". now that was the name of a girl i went to grade school with at the church school in great bend KS. and no there were no trans people back then. it was however, a girl that many of the boys thought wasnt good looking. then in another dream, i was in a vehicle riding, and it had to turn a really sharp corner going downhill really fast to get onto the bridge connecting the Missouri casinos on both sides of the river in Kansas city. though this bridge does not exist ive dreamed about it several times. sometimes i am riding the subway into the casino in those dreams. and then in a dream im sitting next to a really good looking black woman i dont know and Tony from El Paso comes up to me and asks me is this your wife? I am going to stop paying $5 for brownie bites at walmart. they no longer stay good without going bad too fast. and theyre over priced and not good for me either. i dont know if my laptop did some weird update while i was sleeping, but something looks a lot different with the size and font on here, and i didnt change anything and im not sure how to make it look normal again. if it also looks different for lightning when he composes a blog then we will know. i doubt ill stay at this casino too much longer since im not really getting anywhere. still got the same 43k i had when i came but i no longer have the 45700 i had it up too when i was up the other 2500 on the video blackjack machine. the best one i can still find in the US. also the PLO only goes on saturdays. did anyone see the tweet some woman made to the guy who shot the health executive in NYC who talked about the different kinds of sex she wanted to do with him? this really offended me, and shows how much society and our culture has declined. women are not mentally well. its why so many men feel they have nothing left to live for. instead of going to play VBJ this morning (although i later did and won $370) i went straight to the poker room at 4am when i noticed there was a game still going. i started winning hands and at one point i had my $109 buyin into $495 but the game was getting short and when down to only 3 players and about to break, i got AK, made it $15, and a guy makes it $45. how do u fold AK 3 handed? i shoved and he called for less and i ended up losing about $175 on the hand and then the game broke. i decided to wait at least 2 hours so i could sit with $100 even though one of the guys who left was coming back and they were hoping to try to start it back up in about 15 minutes when new people started walking into the poker room for the morning game. i still havent been back to the room, so ill need to sign the list and wait when i do go. they have a really weird rule here regarding the button straddle, which they refer to as the Dallas straddle. when a game first starts if anyone doesnt want it he can veto it and even if he is the only one who doesnt want it, then they dont have it. naturally it makes everyone hate u, but the straddle on the button is so stupid and so bad for the game its no wonder all the rooms in Dallas and then Doug Polk got rid of it in all his rooms too in Austin and San Antonio because it kills the action so bad. so the other day i vetoed it but since it wasnt the first game of the morning, it wasnt that big of deal and anyone too upset eventually got moved to another table. But yesterday i tried to veto it the first game of the day, there were 5 of us starting it up, then 1 guy immediately quit and then the game broke because they wouldnt play 3 or 4 handed. so they waited a while, and though i enjoyed the power i had, i really cant use it if it will stop a game from existing. i blamed the guy who left making us 4 handed far more than i blamed myself. so we started a new game about 45 minutes later with the button straddle, and the floor told me theyd try to get a 2nd game going without it so i wouldnt feel pressured into having to do something i didnt want to do. its unusual how they have a rule 1 player can veto it, but thats the rule. most dont even know the rule exists. so when the 2nd game started it was without the straddle, only under the gun, which i dont mind because its actually good for the game. so good for the game i wouldnt mind making it mandatory if the other players agreed. at least thats what i thought. but i later found out u could still button straddle (wtf) but the button no longer has the power of always being last. (if they raise in front of the straddle he must act before the blinds act) so although he has less power, its only a little bit less. well to me, that defeats the whole point of objecting if the button still can straddle so ever since ive had no objection. it wasnt the order i objected to it was the idea of the button straddling whatsoever because its so horrible for the game. People who will straddle utg if they find out they cant button straddle will now be able to button straddle. plus the only other rule difference is if the Dallas straddle turns into just a regular button straddle without the power of acting last, the UTG now has priority instead of the button. Of course if the button has any sense at all, he would always let the UTG straddle instead of him anyway. imagine the button saying "i dont want another player feeding dead money into the game, i want to be the one feeding in the dead money." but most of these games have no sense whateever. the action is much looser than u would imagine for an early morning game. some of the regulars are quite loose. this was written several days ago and i was going to make the blog bigger but now the dates on it are incorrect because it used words like yesterday when its no longer yesterday. so i guess ill publish it anyway
