Ray doesnt really know why i left Katy immediately for Coushatta. Ray also bought me a pair of pants. And that pair of pants comes in really handy, cosidering how bad i needed another pair since the old ones have a hole in the pocket. plus there are extra pockets on the legs to carry a phone charger and a cord.
i forgot to tell u guys of something that happened to me in Biloxi a month or 2 ago on the way down to Florida when Ray was driving us there from Houston. i should have mentioned it in a much earlier blog. There was a truck driving poorly and to avoid hitting it Ray had to swerve over into another lane. and then a lady in a car somewhat behind us (im not sure exactly what happened) but she did something to damage her car and Ray was worried about her and he drove back to check on her, which is a good thing, but i felt that it was nothing to worry about, and i didnt think she actually done anything to her car, and for my safety, being paranoid it being in the middle of the night i wanted dropped off at the casino we were headed to 2 blocks away first. plus at the time i still had a lot of cash in my pocket. its not like today where i keep having to take another $1000 out of the ATM, (for the 3rd time this week) after losing all of the other $13k in cash.
he suggested i stay in the car when he went to talk to her. turned out it was a black lady and there was a black guy in the car with her, which really made me nervous considering they might of wanted to beat the shit out of us had they really damaged the car. but he didnt realize that she wasnt driving alone.
he ended up giving them $100 voluntarily (which he certainly couldnt afford to do) i guess he felt responsible and he thought and they thought they needed a tow truck but it turned out they didnt because 20 minutes later their car was gone. im just glad we didnt get robbed or shot and i was irate at the time he didnt let me out of the car before he went back 2 blocks to check on them as we were pulling into the casino.
i am scared to death of going broke. i had my bankroll finally below 40k because of all the recent losses on the big easy video blackjack machines and i know theyve got to be rigged and cheating me. and then i still went out and threw away $2500 tonight on them after first winning $38 in $1-2 NL. i was never up more than about $80 in the $1-2 NL. but the $1-2 NL game here is loose enough unlike most of the high raked $1-2 NL games. Please say a prayer for me, because i need God to deliver me from the spirit of a wild donkey. (david wilkersons words). if u dont know who he is, he is the one who founded Times square church and teen challenge on helping people with addictions of various kinds.

Also i spent $93 today at Publix loading up the freezer with more groceries to carry me over til my sunday next week checkout date.
Even though the rake is less at the Big Easy than the rooms with the looser games in Miami, and the $1-2 NL isnt nearly as nitty and tight at the Big Easy than the games at the Seminole Hard Rock, i wonder if i would be better off taking Uber there for $20 (its only $11 to the Big Easy or $2 if u use Ride Circuit app). Simply because they dont have any video blackjack machines only $25 and up live BJ instead which doesnt tempt me because the minimum bet is too high. but overall the Seminole isnt nearly as good a room because all it basically has is higher limit games than many people want to play. they only do it because theyre a bunch of rich guys who only care about overcoming the high rake.
i even failed to offer to run it twice on a hand tonight (although i wouldve always done it if asked) but i didnt ask because it wasnt a very big pot and i dont like them taking an extra drop if they ran it twice. they do that with the excuse u can get the high hand even if they go twice so they use it as an excuse to charge u twice. and that is something i never ever do i always ask right away.
also i threw away a high hand too. i had a small pocket pair of 77 and because i knew a guy was going to raise i folded it preflop would have flopped quads. am i playing too tight out of fear? why doesnt this same fear keep me from playing blackjack?
I'm actually scared to leave my room and go to the cardroom anymore, and i really miss being in texas where i wasnt around any of my other bad habits. i keep staying home until late in the day because i know even if i get up 100-300 and want to hit and run, there is no other game to go to since i cant afford the PLO (the min buy is 200 here instead of 100) and the other room is $20 Uber ride away unlike in Dallas. so i end up going out to the video BJ machine. i kind of got half a mind to go to a city where there is no way to gamble at all. all these drops are freaking me out, seeing as i have about 38k left of over 65k i had when i first got to florida.
i just feel like if im paying over $3500 a month for a place to stay and almost $800 in resort fees not to count the few hundred for tax, about 1-2 blocks from the beach, i might as well get full use of it.
i guess it wouldnt be a good idea for me to stay down here long term like i originally thought. i had heard so many good things about Florida poker and there are so many different rooms i was going to buy a trailer for $2900 in the trailer park about 3 blocks away from the Big Easy and i couldve lived there forever for only $960 a month in lot rent and about $150 a month in electric. but this trailer was really shitty on the inside and the guy who owned it had to flee the country a few months ago and the park was anxious to find someone to buy it. i would have had to install a bed, a table and chairs, a refridgerator, a stove a microwave, etc. it was basically empty inside and run down. id have spent a few thousand fixing it up inside too.
i told them about my lack of credit and income but at the time was a lot wealthier than i am now, and i offered to prepay up to 6-12 months and they told me they would accept proof of bank statements for the last 6 months, so i went out to all 3 banks and got those. that will show i rarely have less than 25-50k in the bank which is better than a lot of others have in cash on hand. and its a damn shame its no longer the case. i would have also had a background check but thats basically for the last 10 years and old stuff wont show up. also i would have had to go thru an interview. i finally think its too complicated a process and i dont really belong here, but it sure wouldve cut my expenses down to nothing because im not going to have enough to live ive lost too much.
