has anyone tried to fly since May 7th without a real ID? i remember Kristi Noem saying they werent refusing anyone the right to fly but just giving them a lot of extra security. i wonder does that still apply or was that only at the start? i am too afraid to try it, i worry theyd ask the wrong questions and since i dont have an address id either have my ID seized or be held til i could provide proof of citizenship. i really need an immigration lawyer to straighten this out so i can get a passport and it should probably be done before my mother dies or how would i prove she lived in the US most of her life except her brief time in canada?
she is already way too old and too poor of eyesight to find her birth and marriage documents anymore. ever since either Vince or Ray lost them, she is no longer able to travel from home to make copies.
Luckily the TSA is no longer involved in any way with amtrak and there are plenty of trains dallas to chicago, which is turn work for Chicago to vegas, chicago to reno, chicago to florida, etc.
and i finally got all my laundry washed for the first time in over 3 weeks. i was relieved to discover the dryer work good and u dont have to put them through multiple times.
i would like to discuss a certain hand so u can see why ive done so well at PLO in the Dallas area. this hand history will let u see how the others at the table are playing most hands and the huge variance in the game which is why u are a fool if u dont always run it twice.
i was in the small blind, and a loose player who doesnt like me was in the BB. i forgot who raised it to $15, but there were multiple callers. i had QTQ8 double suited. i called because this hand has plus ev equity multiway. the BB raised it to $75 because hes a horrible player and doesnt like limped pots. (turns out at showdown his hand was 225J) multiple limpers called the raise since theyd limped, and when it got to me, i said pot (which was somewhat over 500) the original raiser called, and another guy shoved for $790 and a short stack or two also called.
we all agreed to run it twice and the top board was something like K79K5 and the bottom board was AAA23.
i figured at least someone would have an ace, and someone would have a king, so i wasnt expecting anything. but i won a $2100 pot or more which put me about $1000 up and i had been stuck.
the key was i raised had i only called $75 the pot wouldve been much smaller, it wouldnt been ran twice and i wouldve folded before the river if not on the flop. And the second key was i limped reraised i didnt raise it when it was still just $15
